We really enjoyed our day out here, even though the weather wasnt great we found lots of things to do, the talks on the sealions, meekats and in the butterfly farm were great, we took our own picnic but did buy hot drinks there, i think they were a bit pricey but everyone has didnt ideas, the animal encounter was good 2 lovely ladies who are volunteers took the talk and you could see they really cared about the zoo.
There were 2 lion cubs which were lovely and a baby seal, there did seem to be quite a few babies which is great! If you get time check out the lemas inclosure they are great running around, you can get really close to them. Feeding the loiketts was so funny,as soon as you walk into the inclosure they all fly over (they love the food you can get them, its 2 for £!) they dont leav you alone until its all gone!!
The gardens are very well looked after and there is alot of choice in the gift shop, there is an activity centre which kids can go and join in if they like but we didnt get time. We felt we had value for money we did buy a family ticket which was £40.50 including the donation which we were happy to pay.
I would be happy to return here again next year and see all the babies growing up
