“While away the hours”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2013

The museum and art gallery is conveniently located on the Triangle. Exhibitions I think you may have to pay for, but the general museum and art gallery is free. I have been several times (usually to pass the time when friends are late!), and it is a lovely place. Some very impressive artwork, and some very impressive exhibits too - they had a gypsy caravan one time I went - unusual for a museum I thought but very interesting.

“Great attraction in Bristol”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 19, 2013

Over the years my family have visited this museum. The travelling exhibitions, most recently the Wildlife Photography, and ones proir to that, Banksy, are always fantastic, and FREE. Remember to put some money in the donation pot.
I do hope we don't lose this facility. It needs to be free to enable whole families to experience and learn about Art and culture.

“Good but same old, same old stuff”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 10, 2013

This is a great place to see some wonderful artwork but it's kept the same, year in, year out! Why, when there is a room full of artwork just stored in the basement. There needs to be a freshening up of the pieces on a regular basis.

“A free museum”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 10, 2013

It seems much money has been ploughed into this museum - sadly there were not that many folk having a look - they all seemed to be sitting in the cafe - loved the displays

“Good value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2013

Good value museum on Queens rd. Kept out 4 boys busy most of the day on a wet school holiday. Lots to see and do and now the ground floor has tables and seats to bring your own food. While the cafe seems ok, it is hideously expensive for 6 of us.
