“A very ecumenical place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 1, 2012

When I was there they were having choir practice accompanied by the organ. The whole place is very friendly and bright and they make great efforts to draw in the general public. There is a lovely cafe and a very peaceful garden which I sat in for some time in the sunshine.

“Beautiful and with great history”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 28, 2012

Quite a beautiful church, big enough and with lots of details. It's a typical church with many additions and contains lots of historical information about Bristol.
There aren't any organised tours available, but you can book a private tour with a guide (there might even be a guide at the inside of the main gate of the cathedral). Going around the church will impress you yet I think that through a guided tour, you're gonna find out a bunch more of information and interesting facts.
The gift shop is adequate, not too pricey and you can find nice jewllery there. There's also a nice quiet cafe at the back of the Cathedral (not too expensive as well) where you can relax after a walk around the noisy Park Street.
There's no entrance fee (unless you book a guided tour) and it's worth a look.
