This is a reasonably priced park with lots to do for all ages. Good facilities and plenty of activities (went in the week day term time so was fairly quiet). Both children aged 2 and 7 enjoyed themselves and didn't get bored all day. It rained a fair bit but didn't matter as there is a large indoor play area for all ages to go mad in. The only downside for us is that the staff were very uninterested and didn't seem to enjoy working with animals or children. The pig race for example was conducted by 3 members of staff and consisted of each child choosing a piece of colored paper from a tub (which we guessed related to an unidentifiable pig), the pigs running up the course, then a lolly pop being given to those children with the correct colored paper and denying all other children of a sweet (which did not go down well with the 2 year old) without as much of a wOrd being spoken. A bit of excitement from the staff would have created a much better atmosphere for everyone. Inside the play area were signs everywhere saying no adults on the slides. Two adults from our group took the children on the slides while the staff were watching. It was a good thing for us but again, a sure sign that the staff were uninterested in their job. A similar story could be told for the animal petting staff. Apart from the staff however, a great day was had by all and will definitely return, just a shame it could be so much better. Great park and well laid out.
