“What a pleasant surprise!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2012

Went here with some mates and their little'un this past weekend. What a nice surprise!
I hadnt been since I was a kid and used to pick strawberry's there in the summer!
It now offers a really good value day out if you've got kids.
I think we paid £7 per adult and little'un was free being under 2.
Loads of animals, soft-play areas, riverside walking, bird displays etc. Pig racing was funny!
A little cafe for teas and coffee etc.
Overall a great day out that I wasnt expecting!

“Family Day Out”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2012

This is a great park situated by the side of the river at the Bristol end of Saltford (A4). It has something for everyone; soft play area for toddlers, adventure playground for primary age children, indoor barn (high slides) for the older young person ..... then much more ..... train rides, tractor rides, pets corner, rowing boats, assortment of animals and a riverside walk. It has a cafe that provides the usual hot meals (with chips) as well as an assortment of baguettes. Most families bring a picnic as there is plenty of space to choose your spot. I have visited this park for years, with my children and now my grandchildren. There is an extra charge to ride on the train but everything else is inclusive. If you like people watching there is no better place than to sit on the side of the small lake and watch families trying to work together to row their boat, it's a scream!

“Green and pleasant day out”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2012

Overall a positive day out even though we didn't manage to see everything as all the children ; five between 3 and 8 found enough to keep themselves occupied for most of the day. I liked the indoor play area as it was brighter and more airy than any I have been to before,a definite plus !
There were lots of green spaces and picnic areas outside and the children spent ages in the outdoor play areas, on the slides and zip wires. Also enjoyed the alpacas, the pony grooming, pig racing, trampolines and go-karts. Unfortunately the go-karts lacked any staff supervision which created obvious problems with some children dominating the area while others queued in vain.
There was also a lack of soap in some of the dispensers near the animal areas which given the risks with 'petting farms' was a bit of a worry !!! Had to use the toilet facilities which are fairly limited.
I think the price is probably the maximum I would be prepared for the experience and I certainly wouldn't expect to pay extra for digger rides, quads etc however I would probably consider returning if in the area again and hopefully seeing more of what's on offer next time.
Will take plenty of hand-wash though just in case !
