We only stayed one night while visiting my son at Uni , but the executive room was very clean with a mini bar and did the job
Small moan the bed quilt was too small for the bed and not good with two people fighting over it !
Breakfast was good and overall pleased and would stay again

Stayed here for one night while attending a ruby wedding party locally. Nice clean room, comfortable bed. Staff were polite, friendly and courteous. Breakfast was great and again the staff were great, specially the restaurant manager. A well recommended hotel.

Stayed here for two nights mid June. Travelled by train so didn't have a car to pop out.
First impression in reception very good and check-in was smooth and efficient.
Room was a good size with bath and shower, clean and tidy. Water and mars bar on arrival...
Drinks and food are over-priced, with quality as you would expect for a chain hotel - ok, nothing special.
Ate alone in the bar and felt very safe as a lone female.
The staff are all superbly friendly and efficient - a credit to the hotel.
The only thing that makes me reluctant to book again is the lack of free wifi. I don't necessarily expect free wifi in my room, but public areas should be a minimum these days.
I wouldn't grumble if I had to stay here again, but I'd be more included to book if there was free wifi in the lounge...

We were surprised at how nice the hotel was and our room was really good and modern.
The breakfast was a bit too expensive for us but the hotel suited us perfectly for our one night stay and the grounds surrounding it are lovely.
We were at the end of the corridor so it was a bit noisy as you could hear people who were being loud on return!
However - Would definitely recommend it if you are thinking of staying here!

Not a bad business hotel. It has a couple of restaurants and gym and swimming pool so great if you need to stay quite self contained. Location is very accessible by car and has shops nearby so pretty handy but certainly not near Bristol centre.

The food was okay, nothing to rave about but certainly edible. The staff have all been friendly and great service.

Nice little fountain on a pond in the back of the hotel, loads of wildlife and pretty grounds make the hotel quite a peaceful and serene place to stay.

Not a family hotel although there is the pool and a climbing frame for kids but perfect for a night or two or business trips.

All in all a pleasing stay.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Filton recently. The staff are a credit to the hotel and really made our stay very enjoyable. The evening meal was really good and so was breakfast the following day. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Well done Filton!

First impressions do count and the reception staff on duty throughout our stay were always smiling and always helpful. The hotel has clearly been built for some years but the décor and cleanliness were first class. The standard rooms are small but to be honest that is never a concern as I prefer to restrict the time in the room to sleeping and use of the bathroom. On the subject of the bathroom there is a bath with shower and both were serviced by a powerful supply of hot water. The outlook from the room was good as we overlooked a pond complete with mature trees and plenty of wildlife. The bed was comfortable and a 2 good quiet night sleeps were enjoyed. Plenty of tea/coffee together with kettle and ironing board and iron were provided for use.

On a negative side if you do not pre book meals within your booking they are expensive. A cooked breakfast will knock you back nearly £17. Multiply this by 2 or even 4 as we did it soon added up into a big bill to settle on leaving. The price in the bar reflects the same expensive over pricing. I fail to understand why the Holiday Inn and other hotels do this as it does not make good business sense. We just ordered less and refused to order an evening meal because of the price range of the meals. In fact I suspect that many others were doing the same as the Asian restaurant remained almost empty for the time we were there.

The Wi Fi was also only available at a price and again we decided that it was not worth the extra outlay.

Would we stay again? The answer is yes but next time we will search for B and B deals before booking.

One last thing, there is ample parking and that is free.
