“Where B&B meets perfection!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2013

We spent two nights at Colliters Brook Farm for our friends wedding. The B&B and grounds are incredibly beautiful, an ideal location for the wedding reception. Our room was delightful and the hospitality extended to us by Rich and the team was absolutely superb. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and cannot more highly recommend a stay at Colliters.

We cannot praise the guys at Colliters Brook Farm enough! After an oversight on my part we turned up a day early, if that was not bad enough we had a very large party of 10 people staying for 1 night before we flew on holiday. They were fully booked but rather than turf us out Rich was truly amazing as he sorted out alternative options for us and this was no mean feat. Some stayed in a near-by place, others in a part finished room and the rest of us in an extra special place! They went above and beyond the call of duty, always friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble and the run to airport was so smooth even the extra pick-up of people that had stayed in the near-by place was not a problem. I thought we could not be more trouble but on our return my car had developed a flat battery and yet again Rich came to the rescue to get us on our way even though he was busy with other collections. The customer service here was second to none, the rooms and accommodation are just as superb. The only way for us to describe it was faultless and would strongly recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area for any reason. These guys will look after you! We will always use them that is if they will let us come again given all the trouble we caused!
Once again they are amazing!

We stayed just one night before flying from Bristol Airport and were amazed at this place. We had the barn, lit outside with fairy lights, which is massive with a great family lounge linking the bedrooms. (My nephew arrived first and immediately texted "this place is awesome - can we stay the week"!) Ralph and Rich gave the warmest welcome ever and made flying out so much less stressful. Abbie was friendly, helpful and efficient, ringing beforehand on the day to check all was well with us. Nothing is too much trouble for these people - just good natured humour and helpfulness. Nothing phases them - they just take it all in their stride. The breakfast room is warm and welcoming and the cooked breakfast was perfect. Rich is a mine of funny anecdotes - his tales of his fishing holiday had us in stitches - and we loved the friendly collies. We left our cars and met at the airport and taken back to an offer of tea and cold drinks before we set off for home. A wonderful place which thoroughly deserves its number 1 spot. We will definitely stay here again and will recommend it to anyone else who wants a friendly b&b in this area. After just one night we felt like friends. With special requests, Colliters will do all they can to help - when we arrived another guest had just been cutting foliage from the garden for a flower arrangement! You really should try this place - it is unique!

We had a brilliant four night stay in the Dutch Barn at Colliters Brook Farm with our daughter, son-in-law and two little grand-daughters. From the moment Richard waved us into the farm, all smiles and easy-going humour, we knew we had picked the right place. We arrived mid evening and the barn was lit up with welcoming fairy lights. Vie Vie (aged 2) commented first thing in the morning 'Oh Giggy we are having such a pretty holiday!' And so to breakfast where her request for a 'Humpty Egg' was met with not one, but two, both of which she ate with relish! Similarly, the full cooked English breakfast for the grown ups was a positive feast - no skimping in this establishment! Followed by toast, waffles, brioche and crumpets. I forgot to mention that Richard had told us to come in to breakfast whenever we liked. No dragging ourselves out of bed at some unearthly hour of the morning to meet a 9am breakfast curfew. And the beds were extremely comfortable I have to say. We were extremely happy with Richard's advice on a good Indian take-away and hey presto!..as if by magic a tray was brought over from the farmhouse bearing plates, cutlery and serviettes. On discovering that I had left my mobile phone lead at home, I asked Richard for the closest mobile phone shop. Within a very short time Abby appeared (in her PJ's!) with her spare and an insistence that I keep it all week to save me buying one. Richard, Ralph and Abby's easy going manner makes you feel so much at home. Our son and other daughter live close by in Bristol and Bath and Richard was more than happy for them to come over to socialise with us. Each day the grandchildren would enjoy seeing the baby chicks and the most friendly dogs (Suzie and Milo) you could ever wish to meet. (With owners like they have, how could they be any different?) The grounds are great for children and Vie Vie enjoyed bouncing around on the trampoline and having conversations with the affable cockerel who responded to each of her 'hellos' with an obliging cock-a-doodle-do. She was delighted. In the evening guests enjoyed sitting out at the tables on the patio or around the 'magic table' where the sound of laughter was testament to everyone's contentment, Too often you can stay somewhere where you feel the hosts have tried to get away with as little effort as possible, but here, the opposite is true. Literally nothing is too much trouble for Richard, Abby and Ralph. They are genuinely lovely people and deserve all the accolades they receive. We would recommend Colliters Brook Farm very highly to all who appreciate sincere and generous hospitality.

We will definately book to stay here again! Everything was perfect shame it was such a short stay. We were greeted by Abbie who was so friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. A Very nice ride to the airport in the early hours too in Rich's new wagon :) See you again soon :)

We held our wedding at Colliters farm. WEDFEST, and it was the most spectacular day we could of ever wished for. Abby Richard and Ralph, were the most amazing and helpful people we could ever of wished for.. Nothing is too much trouble for them., Abby and Richard allowed us to create our vision of our dream wedding.. A festival... Wedfest!! And without there help and positivity it wouldn't of been possible. Abby, Richard and Ralph are the most kind hearted people you will ever meet.. You really should visit the farm to see exactly what I am talking about.

The accommodation is without a doubt outstanding, clean . Warm and homely. The breakfasts are yummy, and Richard, Abby and Ralph are now part of our family and imsure we are part of there's.

We are now all living happier ever after :) Thankyou Abby, Richard and Ralph your farm is truly magical :)
