Took my two grandchildren aged 8 and 5 during Easter holidays.
On arrival our hands were stamped so "we could come and go to eat at outside restaurants"! Good idea, thinks I! Whilst it is, in reality it is impossible!
With no map, unless we purchased the guidebook, we entered the Aquarium, it was only then I realised that the only way out was to go through the entire Aquarium and this was confirmed by a member or staff!
The children loved the fish and the exhibits as well as watching the Rays being fed and feeding the fish themselves, but other than that the "fish" novelty began to wane towards the end!
In view of this I decided we should "eat in", especially as we had had really good food at the adjacent @ Bristol. What a disappointment! Prepacked sandwiches/rolls or childrens boxes, yes we could have had cooked burgers etc., but at a price! On this occasion due to the cost, the children shared a box with an added drink and part of my bagette! None of the food looked or tasted appetising!
In view of the brilliant day we had at @Bristol, was bitterly disappointed to say the least with this venue and certainly won't be making a second visit!

Thank you for sharing your experience on Tripadvisor. Glad you took the opportunity to help feed our fish and enjoy the activities on site aswel as our displays. Apart from fire exit's around the aquarium there is no other entrance or exit for the customer for safety purposes, although the map is on our guidebook we do have our talks, feeds and activities with times available on screens aswel as announcements prior to the activities. Thank you for trying our cafe and all your feedback as this helps us make any future improvements to the facilities available to customers. We hope that you do consider visiting us again in the future.
