“Great vegetarian options”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2013

I love this place - all you can eat & a whole separate vegetarian menu. Food is pretty good & being able to have veggie crispy duck is brilliant!

“What disappointment”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2013

My partner and I visited on a Saturday night, after a number of very good recommendations. We were seated, then a waiter took our order, after a long wait my partners starter arrived, after he had eaten it, a good 10 minutes, mine arrived, This set the precedent for the evening, the service was poor and slow, the food came out in dribs and drabs, personally I thought the sweet and sour pork was like fried fat. The rice was cold, and for the money (£16.95 each), the food, and the service was disappointing. I realise the place was busy, but it was not acceptable. I feel more waiting staff would be a good idea (a smile wouldn't have gone amiss), and maybe an explanation of how the "eat all you can" menu works. No one asked if everything was alright. We were very disappointed and will not be visiting again.

“customer service poor”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2013

have been hear a few times never a problem, untill this visit. Phone to book a table informed the girl on the phone that i needed a table for 5 adults and 3 children 1 of which is 18 months old. Service was very poor 3 people were serving 4 tables, the very little girl who served was very helpfull and seemed to do more, the girl who served our table was very rudy. Total bill came to £170 which was not to bad as this included drinks (which are very expensive) on looking on the bill they had charged us for the 18 month old child £8.00. i explained that she had eated a carrot and a slither of cucumber and should not been charged the rude waitress said because she made a plate dirty she would be charged, i asked to speak to the manager (who i know to be a male gentleman as i have spoken to him on quite a few visits to say how nice it was, when this very rude woman came i explained to her and she did take the £8 of the bill. WILL NOT BE GOING AGAIN UNTILL THEY GET NEW STAFF

“Waiter Service of All You Can Eat Menu”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

Visited the restaurant for the second time on 20 January 2013, with a family party of 16. The food is excellent - we chose the £16.95 All You Can Eat menu. We ordered a few dishes at a time, to avoid everything coming at once, as can happen. The Appetizers came and then we ordered the Duck and Pancakes. We had plenty of meat and ordered more pancakes and spring onions to use it up. The Mains were a bit slow, but were delicious. The rice and noodles came at the end (as they do in China). We should have insisted on them coming early as the children with us were needing carbs! One of the reasons for the delay could have been the change in waiters, one of whom must have been at the end of her shift. The staff are great with kids - it seems they mostly come from China. There was no charge for the 2 and 3 year old, although the elder tucked into everything. Half price for the 6 year old. There were a lot of Chinese people eating there - which is always a good sign in Europe.

“Good customer service.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 10, 2013

This was my first visit to the resteraunt. The all you can eat Restaraunt is located in the Eastville area of Bristol. There is an oriental supermarket on the ground floor. The resteraunt is upstairs. Luckily there is a lift. The decor is traditional, clean and airy. The menu is extensive. Starting with appetizers. The main menu which includes vegetarian dishes. If you feel you want to eat everything listed on the menu they will cook it for you. I personally enjoyed the appetizers and had two lots of barbecue ribs and all the prawn dishes. The cost for the evening buffet is £16.95. The positive - the food is cooked to order so it is fresh to your table. The only negative is that the food goes cold quickly as there are no food warmers on the table. Also i would have liked some background music.
