Description: Tucked away in All Saints Lane in Bristol is the much-loved dining institution, The Rummer Hotel. This gorgeous, classic restaurant and cocktail bar is set inside a Grade II listed building, and with its forest green leather sofas, oversized open fire and historic cellar bar and dining room - the Hotel has a relaxed and welcoming home-away-from-home vibe. Perfect for weddings, group get-togethers and intimate dinner parties, The Rummer Hotel is independently run and the menu, created by a reknowned Head Chef, is filled with contemporary British dishes. The restaurant is popular on weekdays for brunch (don't miss the kedgeree or the The Rummer all-day breakfast) as well as providing a relaxed, sophisticated atmosphere for fine-dining in the evenings. A mind blowing array of fine spirits, and cocktail bartenders who know how to mix them, make The Rummer Hotel's cocktail bar one of the great classic bars, and a destination for cocktail lovers the world over.

“Must Visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2013

This is an interesting place, full of history and is tucked away in a very old part of Bristol. There is a great log fire and very comfortable to meet friends and have a coffee. We had an awesome Sunday lunch there on March 5th with some amazing deserts and were so impressed we went back yesterday. It could not have been more different as the food was very mediocre and disappointing. We mentioned this to the waitress who said they were very busy and fully booked but she thought it was the same as the week before. It won't write it off just yet but it seems that standards should not drop at busy times

“A secret place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 23, 2013

Tucked away down a side street in historic St Nicholas area outside the Corn Exchange this is just the place for a coffee. In winter there is a huge log fire ( yes in the middle of Bristol) with leather sofas. The coffee is good and the sweets are also good. Never eaten a full lunch there but it seems that lots of people do eat there.

“Nice post work drinks”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 23, 2012

I went to the Rummer yesterday after work for my friends birthday drinks. I was really impressed with the atmosphere and service. Very good and extensive drinks list and I loved the open fire which was very welcome on a cold wet day. I will be back and would love to eat here.
