“Perfect for a quick jetaway!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 30, 2013

We stayed overnight at Hathway House recently when we were flying out of Bristol airport early the next morning.
We stayed in one of the 'sheds' at the end of the backyard, but it meant we were self-contained with just one neighbour - less chance of being disturbed. Yes, it was small - ok it was tiny, but hey we only wanted a bed for the night, and it was clean and comfortable. It was great to have tea and coffee making facilities and we even managed to get them to loan us some wine glasses so that we didn't have to drink our wine with our supper out of mugs - not quite so sophisticated!
The bonus of staying here was its proximity to the airport - we had caught the Airport Express bus from Templemeads train station to the airport and then walked to Hathway House and then the next morning we were able to walk back to the airport again - no need for taxis.
We were hampered in our walk by the snow, but I don't think we can blame the owners for that!

We arrived at Bristol Airport in the evening for our holiday trip to Cornwall and needed just some simple accommodation very close to the airport. Hathway House is very conveniently situated and reasonably priced. The room (with ensuite shower, TV set and tea making facilities) is in a little cabin close to the house owned by Claire & Terry who are both very friendly and helpful.
It is nothing fancy and a bit damp, but totally sufficient if you just need a cosy place to crash for one night. Basically, you get what you pay for.

We were going to Cardiff via Bristol, so we stayed in Hathway House for just one night. From the outside, the house didn't look like much but we were greeted by Terry and he showed us the room. It was a small cottage-style building, seperate from the main house, and my first thought when we entered, was that it was extremely cosy, clean and well-kept. There were tea/coffee facilities as well and a lovely bathroom. For the price it was, we couldn't believe it was this nice! And it is literally just a stroll away from Bristol Airport. We would highly recommend this to anyone who requires comfortable and cosy lodgings, a stone's throw away from the airport. Wonderful place! :)

Room Tip: We stayed in the cottage on the left and that was lovely!

What a lovely little place to stay!
A lovely couple, a lovely room and fantastic service.
I stayed at Hathway House with my 6year old girl before getting an early morning flight .
On arrival, I was greeted by Claire, who was very friendly & accommodating....and very helpful as I had gone slightly off route on my way!
We were shown our room, which was lovely and cosy and inviting.... and then we popped to the Airport Tavern across the road for a well desereved pint!
They too were very friendly and welcoming.
We both had a good nights sleep, we were brought breakfast in the morning.
Whilst drinking my coffee, I met Terry, who drove us to the airport (thank you).
I left my car with them for the week, and he picked us up from the airport on our return too.
All in all a very lovely experience.
Cheap and cheerful.
Warm and inviting.
A lovely friendly family run business.
We will definately stay with you again!
Thank you for helping to make our trip as stressfree as possible. :)xx

A basic room with en suite shower, very close to the airport(5 minute walk) found the couple who run this business very easy to deal with. It's not the Ritz but they are not charging 5 Star prices what do people expect for the money? I dropped my wife at the airport then brought the car back to park it up, till we returned from our holiday. On returning I walked to the Hathaway House then drove back to the airport to pick up baggage(and wife). I found it easier and quicker than using airport parking and excellent value for money
