4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2012

16 of us stayed at these apartments in June 2012 for my daughter's hen party.
We were split over four apartments which worked very well. The decor is immaculate and the pictures shown are very true. They were extremely well equipped. I couldn't really fault them at all. The staff were very helpful.
They are gated which makes you feel quite secure as the area is not the best area in Bristol. Having said that though we were out and about day and night and didn't encounter any problems. There are shops nearby for day to day needs and the main centre of Bristol is easily accesible by bus or taxi. We did walk to the new Cabot Circus which is very very good and I think it took around 20 minutes.

good for a business trip area somewhat challenging with evidence of street drinkers and quite noisey which at times was quite scarey good bus links shop in town local shops have limited items but taxi quite cheap into town not the preetiest of places but this is reflected in the price and the staff were very pleasent and hel[pfull

We stayed there for a hen weekend and had 3 apartments in the building, the staff were very helpful and gave us maps and taxi numbers etc, apartments were very clean and spacious and well equipped. Very secure and quiet, we never seen anyone all weekend and there was no noise at night.

We found a few taxi drivers reluctant to come into the area however the numbers that were given in the book in the rooms were a great service and arrived very quick.

We had the 4 bedroom apartment and I would say some renovations are required as there was a few water marks on the ceiling and walls, nothing a lick of paint wouldn't cure. We had such a great time in Bristol and would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends

4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 29, 2012

We rented a ground floor apartment. It was very clean, spacious, bright, with all mod cons, a lovely comfortable sofa and large flat screen tv including a skyplus box which was an unexpected added bonus! Bedrooms were comfortable and warm. Bathroom was clean, well decorated and had a good shower with good water pressure. The only problem I came across was the heating had to be on full to get hot water and so a lot of the time I was sweating just to have a shower!
Yes the area appears "dodgy" and is a little run down and I was a bit nervous at first as I was a female travelling alone most of the time but I quickly realised no one bats an eyelid at you and by day two I was using the bus stops like someone who'd lived there all my life. I had to use the buses at night time too and never encountered any trouble or anything.

One thing I will agree on is to bring earplugs as the street is very noisy especially on weekend nights as the kids gather around the takeaway across the road. Also the noise from street sweepers and bin men in the morning is really loud if you're in ground floor apt facing the street so a trip to the pharmacy was in order to get some earplugs which did the trick.

Ten mins on bus via number 48/49 to shopping area in city centre.

Room Tip: bedrooms in apartments facing off street would be better, if possible!

Myself, my girlfriend and a few friends rented number 13 (I think) for a week over the new years period. It was fantastic - great base for all of the sights and only a 5 min taxi ride from the night life. Recommended.
