“Fantastic restaurant and fantastic staff!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 27, 2013

We ate here last night there were 10 of us, we booked the table for 7pm, I received a courtesy call in the morning to ensure we we're still coming and confirming numbers!! Being women we were 15 minutes late and the staff were so accommodating!!
We had 2 bottles of wine and 2 4pibt jugs of pilsner and for food we had a selection of pizzas, pasta, king prawns and calamari!! The food was excellent!! One of the party is vegan and she brought her own vegetarian cheese the staff were so accommodating in catering for her needs, we found out later that they already stock vegetarian cheese and gluten free pasta!!
We noticed that one of the toilet seats in the ladies was broken and we mentioned this to the manager as it was quite dangerous, he brought over a bottle of wine which he didn't have to do!!!
It was very busy being Saturday night with a lot of big groups of people but the staff were always on hand!!! The manager clearly wanted our table for another party and asked us if we would finish our drinks in the bar even offering is a free cocktail for the inconvenience!!
All in all fantastic food fantastic staff fantastic time!!!

“Like eating in a train station”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2013

We had our works Christmas party here; it was the noisiest place I have ever eaten. They need to hang dampeners from the roof or something – it really was hard to hear each other speak over the deafening din! The food was OK, nothing special. It cost £22 a head for some Bruschetta, a pizza and a bowl of fruit salad. Drinks were extra. Service was OK, nothing special… The ladies loos were a disaster zone but they did clean it up immediately when I mentioned it. However, the beer, I am told was lovely. I had cider and it was pretty good. If you are really into your ales and don’t mind being a bit shouty, this is probably the place for you.

“Great beer and great pizza, a nice walk up to it as well”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2013

The pizzas are fantastic and the beers are great, 3.20gbp a pint as well! Much better than pizza express with a tiny pizza and expensive euro-fizz.

“Good bar, nice buzz, shame their beer doesn't live up to the hype.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2013

Zerodegrees is perfectly located, being about equal distance between the triangle and the Broadmead area. That means it's great for meeting up with people after work without anyone feeling like they've had to go too far out of their way.

The pizzas are very good, we've had them a few times. The bar itself is nicely lit with a bit of a buzz when it gets busy, which I really like. The service at tables is good but at the bar isn't the best. I'm not a big beer drinker myself but I thought the beers they brew themselves were a bit disappointing, especially because they get quite a lot of hype for them. I had expected better.

Overall though a nice place to come for an after-work drink, or for a casual meal with friends.

“Great building, good beer and nice pizza's”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 20, 2013 via mobile

This place is pretty simple food, pizzas with some interesting toppings but its not haute cuisine. The beer however is superb, lots of flavour, original tastes.
