We booked the Inn at Woburn to take advantage of their concessionary tickets for the abbey and safari park which would have worked out well if the safari park hadn't closed due to a power cut (not the hotel's fault by any stretch of the imagination),
We had a family suite which was a good sized double room with an adjoining sitting room with a sofa bed. The sofa bed was fine for our 2 children (ages 6 & 8) but would imagine not ideal for older children. The rooms were nice enough, clean and the bathroom ok but even I had to duck to use the shower and am only 5' 8".
Breakfast is a buffet with some menu choices and had all the standard fayre and was replenished frequently, the dining rooms were also very nice.
There was a wedding on whilst we were staying and we didn't hear any noise from it all night, unfortunately our room was at the front of the hotel overlooking the 'high st' and because of the heat we needed to keep windows open and the traffic noise was quite high. Although not a huge road it seems to be a very busy thoroughfare with cars and bikes travelling at speed and tractors coming through early morning.
We would go back but would request a room away from the road.
