Nice camp site, only £7 per night per person. Lots of seperate areas, river view, sea view, wood area. We chose sea view, which was quite far away from the shower/toilet block, however there are single toilets dotted around the site.

Situated right on the beach, there is a slope for launching boats, and there are very nice sunsets.

They have a small shop, open at certain times of the year. Pay showers cost 20p for 3mins. Laundrette room with freezer for freezer blocks only. They also have a pool table/tv room.

There is a small childrens play area, although a river runs through the other side of the camp so children would need to be supervised at this side.

Nice couple, they where out when we arrived to they pinned instructions onto their front door for us, enabling us to pick our own pitch.

Main shower/toilet block fairly clean. Other toilets around site where more basic as they were just extra ones.

Overall nice site, we were dissappointed that it was a stoney beach and not sand, but that was our fault for not checking before booking.

Unfortunately I stayed in a tent here the one night in April when it was sub zero, gale force winds & heavy rain/snow. Though it would be churlish to blame the site-owners for that. Few facilities (pool table with small TV, showers etc.) but well-maintained. It's key selling point is it's location, the lower fields sloping down to the beach and sea. Charming little stream runs through the middle. I paid £7 for a pitch and the showers take 20p pieces (for 3 mins).

Room Tip: Don't stay in a tent when it's zero degrees (unless you're in the SAS etc.)

just returned from a 6 night stay at the camp site. What a fantastic location, a mere 50 yards from the beach and the sunsets were not to be missed. Owners very friendly and helpful. However, while we were there, the facilities were left uncleaned for most of the time. In fact daily we saw the arrival and departure of the cleaners (looked like the children of the owners), which involved a one minute check and change of loo roll. Would love to return but only if the cleanliness is improved.

They are our children, and were only doing a quick inspection and loo roll check, the cleaner visits daily at a different time.

Really beautiful site, right on the coast. We had a great pitch right on the edge. Loved hearing the sea while going to sleep. Showers and bathrooms were easily accessible. Showers were clean and seemed new. Only drawback was the 20p 3 minute showers. We arrived rather late in the evening and the staff was nice about it. Wish we could go back soon!

Room Tip: Ask for pitch nearest the sea.

We arrived quite late in the evening but this wasn't a problem & we rang ahead to forwarn (got stuck in traffic)

The lady who owns the place was at the reception to greet us - very friendly & helpful & wished us a nice stay - gave us a low down of the campsite & we chose the field on the clifftop next to the hill where the goats live - although it was quite windy up there it was nearly empty & the views up there were absolutely stunning (so worth the wind overall)

It is only a small site but it is literally in the middle of the country on the coast so you have sea views & beautiful views of the surrounding hills & in the evening if the skies are clear there is an absolutely amazing view of the stars (we were lucky enough to have a crystal clear night & all 9 of us sat out star gazing)

The sites amenities are fine, its a small site & its amazing value at £6.50 per person per night so don't expect gold plated taps or anything, but there was a toilet block in the corner of our field with a drinking water tap & an outsite sink for washing up. The toilets were tiled, had hot water & a hand dryer (which is great when the nights are cold). There were more toilets elsewhere on the site & a shower block which were also fine, hot water & took a 20p piece to function (the owner did very kindly supply us with 20p's for our stay).

Pub about a mile & a half walk away - the food was ok & local ale was nice.

The owner told us that it gets very busy in peak months & that this year they had to turn a lot of parties away so if you wanted to go peak time I would recommend ringing to book in advance!

All in all a lovely location, beautiful views & has access to a pebble beach so we would highly recommend! And we hope to return in the future.

First time camping and what a great experience.Stayed there for 4 nights, really friendly campsite, good facilities and stunning sunsets. With several different fields, we were put on a small 3 site plot right on the beachfront, simply stunning sea view (a bit exposed when windy, so beware!)
A superb location to explore North Wales from. Has a small shop that sells the essentials, electric hook up on some plots, gas cylinders available, washing machine and tumble dryer (payable), T.V. room with pool table. Never had to wait for a shower and they were always clean with plenty of hot water!
Worth booking in advance during the peak times as it seems it is a hidden gem that keeps people coming back.
Enjoy it.
