This Wetherspoons gets a lot of things right: excellent value, a broad range of ales and pretty good food. Unfortunately, it appeared understaffed over the lunch period with long queues forming at the bars where only two barmen were on duty trying to field orders for food and at the time same dispense drinks. This is not acceptable.
As mentioned, the retaurant can get crowded and also seems to attract a number of parents with badly behaved pre-school children and screaming babies in prams which can be rather ruin the ambience.
