“Good Food Good Price”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2013

My wife and I where Kayaking last Tuesday night on the spectacular Brentwood Bay . We where looking for a place to find a good meal for a reasonable price. We came upon the coyote in Saanichtoon. They have a special every night and that night it was a Burger or Chicken burger with fries,or soup or salad for $8.95 and after eight coming down to $6.95. A sleeve of beer for $4.50. Everthing was excellant .

“Friendly neighborhood bar and restaurant made us feel welcome!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2013

After traveling 20 hours from southern region of US, my husband and i happened upon this neighborhood restaurant for a bite to eat before hitting the bed! The waitress was so friendly, and made us feel very welcomed. It was Friday night, and there was a guy there who facilitates "Musical bingo." He is there at 8:00 on friday nights. He was very friendly and lots of fun. We were rejuvenated after a long, long day. My husband had a seafood pasta, and i had a roast beef and yorkshire pudding with mashed potatoes and gravy. This is a fun place to go and the food is pretty good.

“Started well, then went downhill.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2012

Our first visit to the Bleue Coyote was great. New owner was very friendly, and we thought we had a new spot for breakfast. We returned for a second visit to find they were using new Red Barn Market products, and were very excited as that is one of our favorite grocery spots. The menu prices were higher, but we did not mind paying more for quality. We ordered from the new menu, and were terribly disappointed. We were served VERY overcooked eggs, and although the waitress happily said they would be replaced, our plates were returned with very undercooked eggs, and the cold toast and hashbrowns from our previous plates. One of our party of four ended up not eating as they didn't want to wait, and one ate COLD food and nearly raw eggs. We thought we would give it one more try and returned, this time to have a piece of coloured wrapped toothpick in the middle of a sandwich, didn't feel nice in the mouth, and we were offered no compensation. $40 for two breakfasts, one of which contained a toothpick? No thanks, we will stick with the Prairie Inn!

“Vibrant and good if you like your sports”

Food was good and plenty of it - a bit noisy with all the sports tv screens going but good value for money
