Saturna Island in BC Canada is an out of the way place where peace and tranquility reign. During the summer months it is home to tourists, kayakers, hikers and even scuba divers who seek out the wilderness and beauty of this island haven. There aren't a lot of places to eat on the island, but if you enjoy good home cooked meals with flair and creativity that don't break the bank then the Cafe at the Saturna General Store will satisfy your appetite and you pocketbook. Located across the road from the new firehall, the general store boast the usual collection of bits you need for your holiday stay. The cafe boasts free wi-fi and beautiful front and back porches, artwork hanging on the walls created by local artists and it serves locally grown vegetables, Saturna Island wines and locally raised meats on its' eclectic menu.
