“A gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2013

This place is a real gem, in a surprising location. It doesn't draw you in from the outside, but the inside is really great. The coffee shop is on the main floor. On the lower level is an excellent and very quaint book shop, that is cozy and comfortable. Above the coffee shop is an artists / craft area with a really spectacular range of arts and crafts for sale, from jewellery to paintings. Really unique. It was too bad I was leaving to kayak as I felt there were lots I could have taken home with me. The staff were really friendly and very helpful. The place stands ahead of the town.

“Coffee and crafts - don't miss this opportunity in a town that does not have too many!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2013

We enjoyed our coffee but especially the wonderful gallery of excellent quality crafts and gifts upstairs where I browsed for ages. The basement also houses a very good book shop with something for everyone. A real breath of fresh air for this dedicated shopper, with good coffee and refreshments as well.

“Excellent coffee and paninis”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2013 via mobile

Great coffee, great sandwiches, great service. Worth a detour.

This coffee shop / book store is an excellent antidote to the sameness of popular brand establishments and a welcome find at the top end of Vancouver Island.

“outstanding food and atmosphere in a small town”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2013 via mobile

This is the one place you Must go if you are in Port Hardy. The people were sooooo nice and the atmosphere was comfortable and inviting. Don't miss the upstairs shop... very nice, local artist made goods. pottery, jewelry, baby items, just a gem in this small town.

“Great funky coffee shop with real barrista style drinks”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2013

Excellent coffees and drinks, nice food options - great spot for breakfast, lunch or to just hang out with coffee and a book. Has attached bookstore at back and great craft/gift shop upstairs - don't miss that - best and most extensive selection in town but you need to know its there or can easily miss it.
