Arrived at Amsterdam airport and after reading other reviews knew to head for the exit at arrivals hall 4 for the free bus to the Hotel. Coach (not mini-bus) arrived bang on time. From the airport to the hotel the bus runs 15 mins past and 15 min to the hour. Short ride to Hotel on almost empty roads. Easy check-in and very friendly service. Entered the room to find 2 single beds next to each other to make a double, no probs with that. Older style tv but it was working without any probs. There was tea and coffee making facilities, an ironing board with iron, a fridge and a safe that was large enough to put your lap-top into. Opperation of the safe was using a credit or debit card magnetic strip (no charge just uses the info on the strip, which we found very convienient). Bathroom with large bath and shower over and of coarse the customary toiletries. Used room sevice for a meal which we felt was very reasonable a couple of Euro's more that if you had eaten in the sports bar. Shuttle coach leaves on the hour and half hour to the airport, again bang on time. Took the train from the airport to the city 3 stops away cost 7.80 euro's and taking about 15 mins. Considering the other hotels that we had looked at in the city and what we had payed for the Dorint this was a great hotel for the money even adding on the cost of the train to the city. Oh yes you don't even know that you are in an airport hotel as we did not hear any aircraft the whole of the time that we were there (4 nights).
So in conclusion if you are looking for a good hotel (if slightly out of town) you can't go wrong with staying at the Dorint hotel.
