“Park & Fly - really good deal”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2014

If you are driving to and flying from Schipol, nothing beats parking and sleeping the night before at Radisson Blue. Parking is secure and allowed for 15 nights for a small mark-up on the hotel night. Beds are great in the junior suite and dinner and breakfast good enough at a chain hotel. Shuttle works like a dream.

We used the hotel for a business course, for many people around the world. the hotel is close to the airport, with free shuttle service. The hotel is clean and you are served in a quick manner. The rooms are clean and the breakfest is high standard. Price is international standard

I stayed at the Radisson Blu while changing flights in Amsterdam. There is a shuttle bus, which goes to the hotel from the airport (in front of the railroad station attached to the airport) every 20 or 30 minutes depending on the time of day. It takes about 15 minutes to get to the hotel. I wouldn't recommend the hotel if your planning a trip to Amsterdam or to Den Haag, but for Schiphol it is perfect. The rooms are comfortable. I took a suite and with it you get free internet, movies on TV plus everything in the minibar. The suite was actually a very large room, with the TV on a stand in the middle, which breaks it up into two - and a nice desk and coach on the sitting room area.
Like many hotels with this arrangement, the TV can't swing around and is always facing the bed. Personally, I never watch TV from bed and would much prefer the TV to face the coach! I also found it a bit strange that the cable did not have CNN, but does have BBC World as well as news channels in Italian and French. The lobby and restaurant are very pleasant. In short, this is a very nice place to spend a night if you need to catch an early morning flight. If you're thinking of a hotel for Amsterdam, this is definitely not the one. It would be a difficult and somewhat long trip to catch the shuttle to the airport station and then a train to Amsterdam.

Thank you for your feedback and for taking the time to write about your experience. We are delighted to read that you enjoyed your stay at one of our suites and the restaurant.

We are aware of the inconvenience with the televisions on the suites. Therefore our refurbished suites are equipped with a television which allows you to swing it, making it possible to watch it from both the bed and the couch. Furthermore we do offer CNN, it is however in our television-plus package. When this is a complementary service, for example when booking a suite, it still needs to be activated. I therefore advise you to inform the front office during your next visit when having the TV-plus package and not being able to receive CNN.

Again thank you for your feedback and we are looking forward to welcoming you again.

I've stayed here a lot, probably 30+ nights over the years. The hotel is pretty good if you have business nearby or need a night close to the airport, it is better than for example the hilton at the airport. If you are traveling to visit the Netherlands or Amsterdam I would choose something else, the surroundings are not that inspiring and it will take you too long to get into the city.

Well, its not really at the airport its tucked away in an industrial estate but there is a shuttle bus running every 30 mins. The hotel itself is OK - rooms were clean and quite big, and clean and there's free wifi and tea/coffee making in the room. On the downside the proximity to the runway (if not the terminal) means theres a bit of obtrusive noise. That said the beds were fabulously comfortable and I slept like a log.

The hotel restaurant "The Lighthouse" described itself as fine dining, and that should have scared me off but I went with the flow. Well, it might have has aspirations, but it certainly didn't deliver. The food was plain and while the ingredients were reasonable quality there appeared little skill in the prep and even less in designing an interesting contrast in colour, flavour or texture. Service was OK but overall I regret not getting a pizza from the bar.

Visited the Radisson Blu for 2 nights, on a business conference. Hotel is nice. Got an upgrade to. Business class room and the room was well appointed and newly done up and modern. The airport shuttle is very convenient and runs regularly. The front desk is very friendly and helpful.
Overall no complaints and had an excellent stay.

I arranged a meeting of 3 days at the hotel for 20 people. The service, the meeting rooms, the catering, the personnel were excellent. Everything went well. The rooms are comfortable, people working at the hotel were very kind. I really recommend the hotel for organizing meetings and events. Special thanks to Mrs. Jopke Kokshoorn for helping me out arranging the logistics so quickly .
