“The Best Salmon Fishing Experience I know”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 3, 2012

I have never had a different experience each year I have stayed at the Clubhoue and this years three trips have been no different. First Class Service food and fishing experience.

Travel arrangements are always seamless and re the Helicopter transfer, breathtaking.

Sense of arrival and surroundings are out of this world.

Like being in the middle of a discovery channel documentarty as regards the guided fishing experience, with 4 star + comfort a 5 minute or so fishing boat ride away.

My Dad started taking my family on an annual trip to West Coast Fishing Club over 15 years ago. We always go as a family and have had many amazing trips . This is the best lodge in the Queen Charlotte Islands. The level of service is beyond belief. Stephanie and her staff go above and beyond and work really hard everyday with a smile. The food is a "foodies" paradise and the fishing is epic. The lodge property is five star, amazing views, hot tubs, masseuse-complete luxury. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable and I always sleep like a baby. The fishing experience is top cabin with fantastic boats, tenured guides and plenty of options on where to fish. You get to do all this while being surrounded by breathtaking scenery of the rugged Queen Charlotte's. Just GO!!

Three different Lodges in Haida Gwaii (Queen Charlotte Islands/Langara) and three different but extraordinary experiences. Myself and several associates have been guests of the lodges for 13 years now and we will never miss a year. Its simply a world class experience from the minute you inquire/confirm your trip until you pick up your bags and fish boxes at the conclusion. Everyone from the mainland staff (Randy, Nicole, Brian, & Lois) take care of virtually every detail and thats before you get to any of the lodges!
The moment you arrive you are treated like you are the only guest there.
Wether guided or self guided, the staff, the equipment and the service are 1st class. We dont even think of inquiring anywhere else. You wont be disappointed.

From the moment the helicopter lands at the Clubhouse and you are greeted by Terry (GM) and Stephanie (Guest Services Manager) the unbelievable experience begins.
The Clubhouse and rooms are beautiful, charming and cozy. The scenery is stunning - I was in awe of all the wildlife sightings - whales, sealions, eagles and deer.
The food was wonderful and the service was impeccable. Stephanie and her team look after every detail; they were both attentive and personable.
I would highly recommend a trip to the West Coast Fishing Club Clubhouse, it is truly magnificent.

Just getting to the West Coast fishing club is an experience! love the chopper ride from Masset to the clubhouse. The Staff really make this trip above and beyond! You're already in one of the most beautiful locations in the world. The fishing is incredible, and I self guide.....!
But the staff here go above and beyond creating guest satasfaction to the Max. Iv'e been to the clubhouse 7 yrs in a row, and I always look forward to being welcomed as I arrive, and relaxing.
Congrats to Terry and his team for their constant attention to detail.
orld class food, and the latest gear make this resort a winner in my books! Look forward to next year.....

I heard the Clubhouse was pretty much the top resort in Haida Gwaii, but nothing could have prepared us for what we encountered - the best meals, wine, service, boats, gear, accomodation etc. I tried hard to think of something that wasn't outstanding, but I really can't. Five star everything in the most remote and beautiful place imaginable. This place should be on everybody's bucket list.

This was a trip of a lifetime. The weather was wonderful. "The Clubhouse", it was like walking into, your best friends, or your parents place.
We felt so welcome. Snacks and beverages if you wanted. Views like none other. The meals where fabulous. The Staff...there are no words. Like family!!! is the best I can do.
Our guide Brent, top notch, in our books, very knowledgeable. Fishing was the best, we have ever had.
The price was a little more than most trips, but well worth it. We will be going again. This really was a trip of a lifetime. If you get the chance you have to, go and play there!!! AMAZING!!!
Thank you so much!!!
