Stayed at this B and B for 2 nights, a trip for my parents visiting from Alberta. It is a charming house, a traditional Victorian farm house, with a view of West Lake from the porch. The owners, Mark and Melanie, make it all seem so easy but in truth they are busy making the stay go off without a hitch. The food was head and shoulders above any B and B I have stayed in, a full breakfast of omelette, croissant, fruit salad or gourmet French toast with fruit all served with unbeatable coffee. Mark also kindly took note of our need for low sodium breakfast. Unlike other places, they take "Breakfast" in B&B seriously! The owners were helpful with local info or assistance but also discreet, we had lots of privacy. No TV which meant we could enjoy the peace and quiet of the County or read our books in the evening. As a bonus, you also get to enjoy Melanie's ceramic studio! Beautiful yet functional dishes. Finally, if you stay, ask about the Gingko tree!
