We discovered Edgewater Family Camping last summer and it will be on our 2013 vacation agenda for sure. The kids played most of the day at their Waterpark for a very small fee and fell into bed willingly after the evening campfire. We found this campground very family oriented and it had a warm friendly atmosphere. Next summer we will booking for a full week and likely will try to make it there at least a couple of times. The kids are already asking if there are plans for next year.

Our Family has been camping at Sandbanks Provincial Park for the last 7 years and we discovered Westlake Willy Waterpark This year and made several visits. The Kids absolutely loved the Waterpark and we are going to change our vacation plans in 2013. We quickly toured the Campground and were very pleased with all that it offers and its close distance to the dunes, which would be nice to tour via a pontoon boat. My wife loves the idea of leaving the kids at the summer watersports Day Camp for the day and doing some adult things. Looking forward to our family vacation in Prince Edward County 2013.

Recently my family and friends went to Westlake Willy's water park with much anticipation. Unfortunately our time there from a parents and kids perspective was incredibly disappointing! Upon arrival, the parking and small shore area was clean and tidy. Our children (ages, 7, 8, & 10) were keen to get out and begin their adventures. The inflatables initially presented as fun and safe, however upon using them (water tooters, iceberg, trampoline) many of the handles were broken and unusable. Not only was this frustrating for children attempting to use, it was incredibly unsafe! The water in the lake was low (due to our recent dry weather) and it didn't appear that any of the inflatables had been moved out accordingly. Therefore as children jumped off or slid down into the water it was very shallow, too shallow. My son slide off the designated side of the iceberg and bottomed out! My husband and I were both in and out of the water supervising our children, the lake floor soft and sandy, periodically we would walk into unmarked cinder-block anchors! For a time, I sat on the shore at a picnic table over looking the park. Several of the sun umbrellas were broken as well as numerous plastic Muskoka chairs. Camping chairs were set up and looked like they had never been taken in. We came to this water park anticipating a fun filled afternoon only to leave after an hour! This park looks good from afar but is far from good! This park is an accident waiting to happen. I would not recommend this park to anyone!

We have had our trailer in this park for 3 years now...it is an absolutely fantastic place to be!!
Peace, solitude, loads of fun, surrounded by water, sun, sand and beaches!!

Oh did I forget to mention the stunning sunsets and incredible view of the Sandbanks Nation Park dunes.

We absolutely love this park, the people are fantastic and the owner/management ...amazing!!
Beautiful camp grounds in "Tent City" if you like camping in the rough!

Load of fun for the kids and family in the water park..with ski jet and Pontoon boat rentals!!

You really need to check this place out if what you are seeking is fun in the sun and a great time on the water!!
