“Awesome, locally-sourced burgers”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2014

We made a reservation for 7 PM on a Sunday, after spending the day soaking up the sun at nearby Sandbanks Provincial Park.

We chose this restaurant for one reason only - the rating of its reviews on Trip Advisor.

They had our table for eight (four adults, four male teens) waiting, and took our drink order pretty much right away. The menu is reasonably varied (you can check it out at their website). Six of us opted for their specialty Acoustic Jam burger, one had the grilled striploin sandwich and another the roasted chicken medley. Also, an order of shoestring poutine.

By all accounts, everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The Acoustic Jam burger was very lean, but still moist and it came with made-on-site, light tasting, crisp potato chips (not fries). It was a great burger.

The only drawback was that the service was, perhaps, a tad slow. Then again, in Picton, on a Sunday night, should we really be expecting to be rushed in and out? Likely not.

Will definitely come back to Acoustic Grill again on our very next trip to Prince Edward County.

“Tough to find the first time”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 24, 2014 via mobile

We arrived late in the evening at our B&B (Nine Gables). Diane said at that hour our choices for a meal were limited and suggested Acoustic Grill. She gave us directions but even so it took us some time to track it down tucked in behind off the main street.

The place was jumping so we sat at the bar. Ordered two of their house special burgers along with a beer and local cider. Burgers arrived and looked overcooked but they were fine. Great flavour, perfectly done.

There had been some entertainment which was just packing up when we arrived just after 9. We were told later by someone that entertainment starts early and ends early as there are condo apartments just above.

“Everything you could want!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2014

We couldn't find this place on our first try but were glad we persevered to find it tucked away off the main street.

Unfortunately, we weren't there on a night when there was live music but the atmosphere was good anyway. Small and packed, decorated with posters of the musicians who have played there, this place made it clear that its brand is good food and good music.
My husband and I both had the Headliner burger. Even though the place was very full - on a Tuesday no less! - the food came quickly and was hot and fresh.
The sweet potato fries were crisp and tasty, the Grill's homemade potato chips too.
Service was efficient and friendly.
We'll be back on a night when there is music on!

“Disappointing food but fun pub ambiance”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2014

Beware, the burgers are not the
"best burger in town" as advertised. Our burgers arrived lukewarm with average tasting white bread buns, common ingredients and lukewarm, well done ground beef patties. The fries were shoestring hard, a fried-from-frozen variety, and again, lukewarm. There is a good selection of beer that comes with the pub atmosphere. All said.

“Hidden treasure!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2014

We were advised to try this place during our stay. The meals were delicious, beer was great (local preferred) and service was excellent. A must return to place indeed.
