“Felt Like Home”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 10, 2013

It was my first time ever staying at a B&B and I will never go back to regular hotels again. Darryl & Kelli are amazing hosts who have opened up their beautiful home and made myself and our group feel like family. Breakfast was wonderful and the B&B is very well kept and clean! I would encourage anyone to stay at the Ukee Treehouse!

We had a great 2 night stay at the Ukee Treehouse in the upper suite. The view is spectacular and the building is full of lots of nooks and crannies to get a different vantage point from. We could have stayed a few more nights quite happily! If I had all the money in the world I would figure out a way to purchase the whole place! For now I will be thankful that I live on the island and can go there for weekend getaways ;)

Room Tip: The upper suite is amazing, but if you want to save a bit of coin the second floor suites, while not...

Don't miss a chance to stay at the Ukee Treehouse B&B if you're travelling to Ucluelet. It is a singularly special place to stay. Darryl and Kelli are a warm and welcoming couple and their "treehouse" home is an architectural and artistic delight. All three rooms are lovely, but the penthouse suite is spectacular. The views of the harbour and surrounding cedars are exquisite. Every detail of the construction, finishing, and decor of this amazing house is unique and artful, from the wrought iron door hinges and stair banisters to the driftwood accents on the king-sized bedframe. Luxurious towels and bedding and a heavenly comfortable mattress. The use of natural woods everywhere, including full tree trunks as supporting beams, gives this home tremendous warmth.

I stayed there 3 nights this summer and it was a unique experience. The house is really beautiful, all the details are very well cared and everything perfectly clean. Breakfast is fantastic, especially the muffin prepared at the moment. The people in the house are very kind, very warm welcome and they explain you a lot of interesting thing about the place. Total relax and a very "magic"athmosfere!

We loved staying at the Ukee Treehouse! Darryl and Kelli were so welcoming and hospitable that we felt as if we'd been friends from way back - even though we'd never met them before.... The treehouse is so unique because of the artistic use of real trees, driftwood, local art, etc. Incredible views, amazing breakfasts and cheese plates, wonderful hosts - we definitely would return to Ukee Treehouse! Thanks Darryl and Kelli :)

Room Tip: Pick the top suite with its own bathroom - views are incredible, and you have the whole top floor to...

The Ukee B&B is a charmingly different and very welcoming place to stay. The physical space is intriguing with the use of local materials in an attention-getting way. Kelli and Darryl are lovely hosts. The breakfasts are perfect...cereal, fruit, yogurt, and freshly made muffins...my favorite being blackberry and white chocolate!! Staying here added significantly to our enjoyment and memories of a great visit to this part of our beautiful country.

In our stay in the Ukee Tree House we had the most confortable bed in three weeks of road trip trough Northwest USA and Canada. The breakfast was allways great, as were the tea and snacks outside the room at night. Cynthia, Darryl and Kelli treated as not as 'clients' or guests, but as family. We are eager to stay there again.
