“An awesome place to stay!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 23, 2013

It's hard to find words to express the charm of this B&B. Sue and Drew are perfect hosts. I felt welcome, pampered and catered to. I don't feel the necessity to repeat what others have written, but all the delightful things that can be read about this B&B are true!!! Excellent tips and advice, scrumptious breakfasts and cake, all the extras that makes staying at A Snug Harbour Inn a very special experience indeed. I spent a week here and if I didn't live halfway around the world, I would most definitely return again soon.

Room Tip: My first evening in the hot tub I watched a whale swim by ;) And I stayed in the Lighthouse room an...

This was an absolutely beautiful place to stay. We were in the Sawadee room and loved the ocean view from our windows and the private deck. The only sounds we heard from the deck were the waves and the birds-- wonderful! The room was spacious and attractive and comfortable in every possible way. We enjoyed both the double whirlpool tub in our room and the hot tub on the deck overlooking the ocean. The breakfasts were delicious and the loaves set out for snacking all day were divine! Sue provided us with excellent referrals to restaurants and activities in the area. It is clear that a great deal of thought and care has gone into making stays at the inn as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. We would love to return soon for stormwatching!

Room Tip: Rooms in the main building all overlook the ocean and have private decks. The ocean view is one of...

Once again my husband and I were totally impressed with this property and the proprietors. They always make us feel special when we are there! The location is fantastic and the food wonderful. We would highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a fabulous get-a-way - it will not disappoint!

We recently stayed at Snug (April 2013) and the whole experience was divine. From personal touch and guidance while booking to every last detail attended to, the stay couldn't have been more perfect. Sue and Drew go out of their way to make each and every guest feel special and the little extras like baked goods, wine glasses, tea, coffee, and more are so appreciated. The rooms are amazing and the view is spectacular. Truly never been anywhere else like it. The hot tub was a great way to chill out and relax after a busy day of paddling and hiking. I cannot wait to return.

As newlyweds my wife and I returned to the Snug Harbour Inn for a third stay this past March. It has been such a nice getaway each year. Wonderful accomodations and Sue and Drew are very gracious hosts. The rooms are always very nice, clean and well kept. The breakfasts have always been different and very enjoyable. We are constantly looking forward to going and always dislike leaving. Enjoy your stay... we always do.

A Snug Harbour Inn is easily the best bed and breakfast inn I have ever stayed at. In room fireplace, jacuzzi, and a large hot-tub which were all great extras. The little extras like candles, wine glasses, corkscrew, bathrobes all add up to a 5 star experience. The view is magnificent over the bay, and out to the Pacific Ocean - even a resident eagle's nest to monitor with the telescope, occasioanlly we even saw a spouting whale during the migration. Sue and Drew are perfect hosts, providing excellent breakfasts, and daily cake/pastry offering available with tea or coffee at any time. They are a wealth of local knowledge with recommendations re dining, tours, and walks. Like many other couples I would make this an annual destination. Though I originally booked a nice room Sue offered me the best in the house for no extra charge! Though the Lighthouse Room is very nice the Atlantis Room is the best if it is available.

Room Tip: The best two rooms are the Atlantis and Lighthouse Rooms, with fireplace, private deck, jacuzzi and...

We had never been to this area or stayed in a B&B before, we couldn't have chosen a lovlier place to stay. The Inn is immaculate, and I have very high standards. The views from the Inn are spectacular and the room we stayed in was phenomenol, very private and just beautiful. The artwork and decor at the Inn brings with it the culture of the area and all of the little things (candles in the bathroom) really added to our experience as did the two-sided fireplace in our room. (The fireplace was in the bedroom and right above the ledge of our very large jetted tub.) I may have gained a few pounds from indulging in Sue's wonderful breakfast everyday. (She made Gluten Free baking look so easy and I am happy to say that she has already fulfilled her promise to send me her Gluten free recipes.) Every morning there was fresh baking, along with a wonderful smoothie and some type of omelet or protein. This was a very different vacation for us and I hope that we will be able to go back there someday. Thanks again to Drew and Sue the perfect hosts.
