“Great seafood, leisurely service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 31, 2014

Since our last visit 3 years ago, the restaurant moved to a new location. Ample patio space, plus a bigger dining room and taking reservations made it easier to get a table. The crab dip is a delightful combination of cheese, herbs and crab. If you are OK working during your dinner, the dungeness crab is a treat. The sushi rolls are 8 pieces and fresh! Because the rolls are all prepared to order, be aware that this is not a fast meal. But if you are on vacation and have no time boundaries-this is a delicious restaurant

“Overpriced for quality”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2014

We attended as a family of five with two young children. The appetizers were great, Oysters and chowder. The kids didn't want to eat anything on the menu and they did not have a child friendly menu. This was fine as I was aware of the menu before attending. The main course of salmon ravioli was stoggey and kinda tasteless. The ribs which were the special for the day were tough.

I was also a little put off that a 20% gratuity was added I our bill. I still would have tipped as the service was good but feel that I should have had that discretion

“Delicious”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2014 via mobile

We had dinner here last night and this restaurant definitely deserves more than four stars!

The place itself is cozy, with sturdy wooden tables and marine art. As for the food, the seafood is amazing! We shared a few starters: the shrimp fritters (least of the bunch, as they had a lot of dough), the tuna tataki (delicious, as was the wonderful and spicy kimchi) and the crab dip with roasted vegetables (a huge hit!). Our mains were the seafood hot pot (yummy, and we kept finding seafood!), the scallops (perhaps a bit too much sauce, but very fresh) and the whole crab. The last one was freshly caught and hugely popular - rightly so! We shared the chocolate cheesecake, which was absolutely divine!

The service was impeccable as well. If you fancy a seafood meal in Ucluelet, look no further!

“So good we went two nights running!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 12, 2014

We had 3 nights in Ucluelet and looked on Trip Advisor for help with the restaurants. We were so glad we went to the Offshore Seafood restaurant.
The staff are so helpful and the food was fabulous. We shared the crab and cheese starter because we found that the Canadians have larger appetites than us! Then on the first night we had the Hot Pot and the Halibut. The second night the salmon ravioli was delicious.
It may be a good idea to book as it gets busy at certain times.

“Wonderful food, fantastic service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2014

We ate several crab dishes- dip, California rolls, and a seafood hot pot. All amazing.
Service was friendly, helpful. The to make it wonderful, we ordered desert to go - we were given an amazing slice of blue berry pie - no cost as it was warm, fresh, and happened to fall apart! We didn't care - still tasted fantastic!
Stop here - you won't regret it
