“Great trip, but take your time.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2013

Traveled the route from Lytton, B.C. to Lillooet (very scenic and follows the Fraser River) and then to Pemberton. Take an hour at least for these 2 towns. Found a new small winery in Lillooet (Barens Estate Winery) that has several great wines. Route from Lillooet included stop at Seton Lake, Duffy Lake and Joffre Lake. Only did lower Joffre Lake as time to hike to other 2 lakes would encompass another day. Take bug repellant as horse flies were awesome.
Although distance is not long, roads are windy (lots of curves)

“Don't forget to breath”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2013

Breathtaking views around every bend for motorcyclist and car drivers - relax and enjoy the weldlife and scenery.
This is a twisty mountain road with constant change in elevation and weather but well worth the trip.

“One of the most spectacular beautiful drives in British Columbia”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2013

The drive on the Sea to Sky from Vancouver is probably one of the most unique drives in Canada. After passing Whistler you begin the trip to the Pemberton Valley and then on past Mount Currie to the Lillooet Road and Duffy Lake Road.

Spectacular as you drive close to the alpine with commanding views of glaciers above the tree line. The paved highway takes you back in time with lots of rushing rivers by the road crossed by bridges and plenty of winding turns.

You have to take you time and breathe it all in scenery. Once you wind down to the might Fraser at Lillooet you will rise again on the east side heading to Pavilion and the well know Pavilion Lake where NASA conducts deep water dives. Also located in the Provincial Park called Marble Canyon.

Ending at the historic Hat Creek Ranch you can try their bison chile and then either head north to Williams Lake, south to Kamloops or head back to Vancouver. The trip from Vancouver to Hat Creek is about 4 hours.

You will love it and always remind yourself that you are glad you did not miss it.
