“Average, but still good.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 8, 2013

I go here with my grandparents when I come to visit. It is a little outdated, but the staff is usually pretty friendly. The food is pretty good and isn't too expensive.

“Not worth a visit”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 24, 2012

We stopped here with our children for lunch. I'm a fan of family owned spots and was eager to give this a try. We probably won't return. Yes the place was a bit shabby. Shabby doesn't bother me as it lends to the charm. Dirty however isn't appealing. Everything looked like it needed a good scrub. The service was indifferent. We ordered a variety of items and none of them were worth repeating. The soggy fries had a puddle of grease under them with an old overused oil flavor. If the oil in the fryer isn't up to temperature yes the fries will be soggy. Are they changing their fryer oil often enough? One person ordered an egg dish and it had an off flavor of grill oil. Certainly not cooked in butter. The toast was cold and from cheap bread, nothing we would serve at home. A burger had a tasteless bun and wasn't anything to repeat. The chow mein was limp and tired, not fresh tasting. I would LOVE to have a fantastic family owned diner in town. This wasn't it.

“Good food but outdated and dirty”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 28, 2011 via mobile

The food here is very good, especially the Chinese food! The service staff can be really good, but hit or miss! The place needs an overhaul, very grungy and dirty. Clean the place up with some paint and this would be a great attraction for the town.
