“Good pub grub :)”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 7, 2013

Decided on this pub from the reviews on here and we were not disappointed. We went in and the pub was empty being a Thursday in November. We were not to hopeful. But after ordering and stuffing our faces with 3 courses we were extremely satisfied and stuffed. Food was excellent and service was great and the price was very reasonable. Defiantly worth a visit

“Sunday Carvery”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 2, 2013

We were taken here for a treat, and what a treat. Not only did the owners talk to us before our meal which we thoroughly enjoyed we also had their company when they were able. As for the carvery, well !!, Meat and vegetables were cooked to perfection........ In our opinion well worthy of Michelin Stars. Will no doubt be visiting again next time we see family.

having gone through the rest of the review con't fill all in as we were taken there and are not locals

“BEST SUNDAY CARVERY IN THE WORLD!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2013

I am a big Sunday roast boy, I always have been, normally we have a roast at home but this week 20/10/2013 we thought save the cooking lets have a treat....and what a treat it was too!! fantastic home cooked grub and plenty of it absolutely scrumptious, and the range of puds are to die for. It really was the best (except for mums of course...and the missus) Sunday roast I have had...we shall be back...probably next Sunday. Great job Mark & Carl.

“Sunday Cavery”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2013

Fabulous Food and amazing selection of vegetables. Great value for money and all dished up by the friendliest service you could wish for. The comfortable seating and surroundings combined into a really enjoyable Sunday lunch. Cannot wait to try their evening dining experience.
