Marion and Michael are very nice, friendly and competent hosts. They spoil you like crazy, give you the right tips, what to check out or to look for. Even if you come there without any idea, what to look for. They are prepared to give you good advices.
Also the place is very idyllic. The rooms are very clean. And last but not least, let them cook for you. It's heaven :-)

What a wonderful surprise when we arrived at this lovely B+B run by Michael and Marion in Wells Grey. We had a three night stay but wished it had been longer, wildlife galore, beautiful scenery and waterfalls plus activities on Clearwater Lake for us to enjoy.
We also had a wonderful BBQ prepared by Michael and Marion with a great pudding to finish off with
Michael and Marion were great hosts and showed a keen interest in all the guests activities,i am sure the must have heard the stories countless times before but it was obvious that the gained pleasure from our contentment.
the accommodation was spotlessly clean, comfortable and spacious, a great experience.

Room tip: Three rooms available all of equal size and on the same level with lovely outlook especially to front.

Moul Creek Lodge is a small B&B tucked away in Wells Gray Provincial Park, around 20 minutes north of Clearwater. The location means you not only get peace and quiet, but also are within a very short drive of various highlights within the park. Upon arrival Marion and Michael welcomed us and showed us to our room, which was spacious (with a large king size bed) and had a comfy sofa area for when it gets a bit cold to sit outside. As others have mentioned there are no televisions in the rooms, which for us is a good thing. It was great to be able to sit outside, enjoying the peace and quiet (and hummingbirds!) and getting some reading done.

Breakfast consisted of a comprehensive buffet (we enjoyed the fresh fruit salad, meat and cheeses, toasts and the baked treat (brownies were excellent!) together with a hot egg entrée, all served up with fresh tea and coffee. We brought cold food with us from Vancouver for our initial 2 nights as there aren’t many dining options nearby, and eating this outside with a bottle of wine made for a nice break from all our meals out during the rest of the holiday. Marion and Michael do offer to fire up the BBQ for you if you give them notice the day before, and we were sorry to not have been able to experience this as we had already bought a lot of food, as I’m sure it would have been great!

We have to make a special mention for Marion and Michael for being extremely helpful during our holiday crisis.. We were due to head to Jasper after our 2 night stay but had to turn back due to a huge mudslide that closed the road. Marion and Michael went out of their way to not only give us a last minute bed to sleep in when we arrived back after the long day’s drive, but also to phone around getting updates in order to minimise any more disruptions. It was a perfect example of why we stay at B&Bs rather than big, soulless hotels. We will definitely recommend Moul Creek to any friends/family travelling around Canada!

A wonderful warm welcome was given to us by Marion and Michael. The comforts of this place were idyllic, as were the local attractions of waterfalls, leaping salmon, humming birds and the woodland / river walk in the grounds of Moul Creek. The bedroom was well appointed in a hunting lodge style, with a very comfortable bed. The breakfasts were superb, after which we felt well equipped for the days' activities. This was part of a long itinerary and we wished we could have stayed longer. Thanks, Michael and Marion, for your hospitality and for the recommendation by our friends, Ken and Jackie.

Lets keep this place secret, we dont want it becoming too popular or we wont get chance to return someday.

Martin and Marion were the perfect hosts, they built this place by themselves and furnished it equally to a very very high standard. Nothing was not thought of, even a tassio coffe machine in the room !

The lodge itself is a little remote (23km) from the nearest town but dont let that scare you off, there is plenty to see an do in what is an amazing part of BC and when offered an option of a steak dinner, there is no need to leave this place at all.

for those thinking there is nothing to do, well you are wrong, within 5km there is horse trekking, a golf course, a private airfield offering pleasure flights, a bar, multiple trekking routes and lots more. In the one day we were there we saw quite a few species of wildlife and there are bears, wolves, moose, elk etc etc all within close proximity of the property.

Lastly....the breakfast......
Dont order a packed lunch which marion is happy to provide, you wont need it. whilst is billed as a continental breakfast, its a continental feast.
