We stayed here one night in the Cougar Room. It was better than we expected. For the extremely reasonable price as one of the cheapest places we booked during a 3 week vacation the room was great. It seemed newly redone and was very clean with a nice bathroom. It is in a remote location in Wells Gray Park a little ways outside the town but they have a nice restaurant that serves dinner and breakfast. We had dinner there, it is a limited menu, heavy on buffalo, we were looking for something simple and ended up with enormous buffalo burgers but they were very good. We wanted an early start the next day on our way to Jasper so we didn't make breakfast because it was not served until 8:30 or 9 but we got a decent breakfast at a cafe/bakery back in Clearwater. The ranch was in a good location for exploring the southern end of the park if you plan to do some hiking and exploring.
