Went there with my fiance on a Wednesday night, right after work - must have been around 5h00 pm, without reservations. We figured in the middle of the week, that early, would not be an issue.
As we entered, we were greeted by the hostess who asked if we had reservations - we told he we did not. She then "ho-hum-ed" and "ha-ed" quite a few times, looking very busy and confused by her reservation book, as if she was really trying so hard to find us a table. Needless to say, the place was rather empty, only a few of the tables along the window were occupied.
After making quite a show of trying to fit us in (!!!!!!!!), she told us to follow her and placed us also along the window, at an excellent table. Go figure...
The food was ordinary and the prices were overly inflated - $18 for a plate of gnocchis (storebought - I use the same brand at home) in a bland veal-broth-reduction sauce... not very impressed with that. And the service was done with an attitude, as if he had more important things to do in the kitchen, like splitting the atom.
Upon our departure, about an hour and a half later, we noticed the restaurant was a bit less than halfway full.
Not the most awful exprience, but we did not feel welcome and cared for.
