“Great coffee house atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2012

This is a great place to have breakfast, lunch or a coffee. They have an in-house roaster and the coffee is so good you'll want to take a bag of beans home with you. They have totally nailed it as to what a good coffee house should be besides good coffee, atmosphere, loal artists on the walls, and regular live music. Looking for the heart of a town? It's where friends meet for coffee!
My favorite is the mango smoothie - with or without dairy. I take mine with -- and a big dollop of cream on top makes me a happy camper!

“Local friendly hotspot with good food, raspberry Nanaimo Bars and yummy berry Ladysmith Bars!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2012 via mobile

Fresh roasted Gulf Island coffee, delish salads, soups, wraps, paninis...with wifi, local art and entertainment! Good vegetarian options. Thai coconut soup and curried cauliflower soup were highlights as we're the home baked cookies and squares! Best take on the famous Nanaimo Bar ever! Exceptional service! Comfortable variety of seating. Small dark patio needs improvement.

“Great Place for Music”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2012

This is a wonderful venue for music. We have been to several events and their open-mike jams (the 2nd Saturday of every month), and the atmosphere is terrific. Great coffee and hot chocolates, smoothies, salads, and deserts. Mains can be hit or miss, but usually a solid 2-3 stars. Daily specials are usually a better choice. Nice owners and staff.

“How can someone mess up a wrap?”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2012

Wraps are dry and pretty tasteless. Not enough dressing or imagination.
