“Great family environment, great views”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 24, 2015

Spent three nights here in the pouring rain. Thursday night was very quiet and peaceful while Friday and Saturday were consumed by the sound of children playing and parents partying. Great opportunities to explore.

“Great little escape, awesome campgrounds”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 12, 2015

We ended up going on an improvised trip, and didn't expect it to be so much fun. Campgrounds are well organized, each lot is spacious and full of fresh air and surrounded by large trees. Definitely recommend getting out there and exploring the area.

“So close to the City but feels a million miles away”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 30, 2015

When you first arrive to the park, you are greeted with a gorgeous drive lined with trees on either side. This park is jam packed with awesomeness. So many trails to walk and horse back ride.
There are several sections to check out. My fave is the Spirea trail, easy accessible trail where the entire ground is covered in moss. You can easily use a wheel chair or baby stroller in this area. The next area is Alouette Day area is a great place to pic-nic on right on the lake. In the summer you can swim, kyack, canoe or just relax on the beach.

If you are looking for some really amazing scenic spots make sure sure to drive to the Gold Creek Day Area. You can take the easy 5km hike to the lower falls, or walk in the other direction to the North Beach of the lake.

The park has a few different well maintained camping grounds ( you have to reserve far in advance). If you are not camping make sure to keep an eye on the time as the main gates close and you will be locked in.

“Beautiful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2015

The park is pristine, well groomed and stunning. Summer is crazy busy and it does make it difficult to enjoy the park for space, parking and noise, which is the only downfall. But can you fault the masses for wanting to enjoy the beauty this park has to offer?
