Description: One restaurant, two experiences; the Bistro-Bar of La Forge offers a seasonal menu, with something for every taste, for lunch and dinner. The atmosphere is welcoming and the bar is right in the middle of the big room… from which you can admire the mountain and ski slopes on one side and on the other, Place St-Bernard in the centre of Tremblant’s pedestrian village. On the second floor, The Grill of La Forge offers truly excellent cuisine. Specializing in meats grilled over maple-wood coals, it provides the charm of yesteryear both on your plate and in the luxurious décor of wood, leather and wrought iron that makes the atmosphere so warm and lush. An amazing wine cellar, awarded the the Prix Excellence from Wine Spectator (2 glasses) awaits you.

“French Onion Soup in a Bread Bowl!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 9, 2014

need I say more? The best thing about this place is its french onion soup in a bread bowl. Its a pricey restaurant, but the menu is good. They cater to a more upscale atmosphere with menu items like calamari and brie.

“Typical slopeside loud bar”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 8, 2014

Beer, sandwiches, loud crowds -- you can find this kind of place anywhere and it is exactly what you expect if you keep your expectations low.

“Great Après-ski.”

Great place for"Après Ski!" The servers are very friendly and the food menu was perfect for all ages. When visiting Tremblant, La Forge is a must stop for food and drinks.

“Pretentious and over-priced”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 31, 2014

Ate in upstairs dining room. Filet mignon was excellent. Sauces were below par. Peppercorn sauce was like HP brown ketchup and the red wine sauce served with my husband's filet mignon special a la forge - otherwise known as Tournedos Rossini - was boiled to within an inch of its life. I would say the flavours were very unsubtle and overpowering. Accompanying side dishes of asparagus, spinach and fries were good, but over priced, as was the wine. But if you want to eat steak and chips with a £200 bottle of red and show off, you'll love it here!
