“A beautiful experience enahanced by a cozy atmosphere and stunning scenery.”

We were there for an intimate wedding reception and had the entire B&B rented out to our party of eleven. The setting was perfect for the wedding and the property is beautifully maintained by Robert. Le Refuge is very cozy and the rooms are spacious and very clean. I would return to this place in a heart-beat.

This place is always booked up in advance for all the major and minor holidays and now I know why. I was a bit hesistant placing my review if it means I get an even harder time booking my next stay!

The B&B is located between the old Tremblant village and the new Disneyland pedestrian village. There are cycle paths and lakes just metres away.
The rooms are really cosy and there are lots of terraces and lounges if you feel like a change of scenery. The bed and pillows are very comfy and the rooms are quiet.
The breakfast - fruit cup (parfait or salad) and a huge hot dish (crepe, bagel and eggs, etc.) - is copious and much better than the B&B fare you find elsewhere.
There is a very high tech integrated computer/TV/DVD player system in the room and there are a whole bunch of DVDs you can borrow for the night. There is also a fridge and tea/coffee/water facilities in the dining room, which we found useful when we bought supplies for our lunch in the park the next day.

Definitely my favourite for this area.

We had a lovely stay at Le Refuge. The room is big - modern washroom - all commodities. Internet access. Would not hesitate to recommend this place. Great location.

We had a warm welcome from the minute we arrived!
It is clear that our host Robert truly takes pride in his establishment.

We originally found Le Refuge's website through the Mont Tremblant tourism site and were impressed with the images of the rooms online. The rooms in person are actually more spacious than they look and are presented in the exact same condition as advertised. The amenities were clean and accommodating and Robert's cooking was wonderful with very generous portions.

Our host supplies us with maps of the area every day and provided great suggestions for food and activity in the area. Robert also supplied such utilities as bug spray, umbrella's, tourist information, dvd's, etc.

There is a TV and Internet available in each room, although I would think the screen is small for TV watching (movies).

The Location of Le Refuge was ideal because it is situated between the old and new village and is close to many of the areas best restaurants. I highly recommend staying there!

This B&B is just beautiful. Robert has done a fabulous job renovating and extending the original building.
Our room was exactly as pictured on his website. The views from throughout the B&B were magnificent and we even managed to see the legendary deer and her young after which the room is named.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The food was excellent. The facilities second to none. Internet access in our rooms was an unexpected bonus. Great for travellers wanting to catch up with home.
We visited the manufactured Tremblant Village one day - it's worth a look but it does not feel real. The real village of Mont Tremblant - near which this B&B is located - is more true to life: a quaint, unspoiled, quiet little town with history and views that far outshine the new resort nearby.

Le Refuge is a great place to stay - highly recommended.

So first of all lets talk about the location : 5 minutes away from 'Disney Land' - The Mont Tremblant Resort. A positively hopping amusement park village with hundreds of restaurants, boutiques and of course the ski lifts that take you up to the top of the mountain. 5 minutes away from the more authentic Mont Tremblant Village. Once again lots of restaurants and delightfully less hopping. The 'Parc Linéaire du P'tit Train du Nord' (the beautiful bicycle track) runs through the village. And of course there is the breathtaking Mont Tremblant Park which is about 30 minutes drive away. We went walking there in the 'Diable' area. Fabulous views and walks for all levels. So as location goes, you can't get better than that. Now for the Réfuge itself. Well its simply a beautiful mountain chalet. Pine, lovely alpine furniture and of course an incredible view of the mountain. We stayed 3 nights in the room 'Montagne' which had a lovely balcony overlooking the lake and the mountain. The morning mists were breathtaking. The room was spotless, like the rest of the chalet. The bathroom was just accross the landing and was a pretty as the room. And the cherry on the cake is Robert. He is an extremely attentive host, cooking something different every morning which is always delicious. So don't hesitate, if you want beautiful surroundings slightly away from the crowds but close enough to be able to have access to everything, this is the place for you. PS : As we were enjoying our breakfast one morning 2 deer decided to come and have a look at us. They were just there, the other side of the window. Incredible!

  • Liked — Location, cleanliness, host
  • Disliked — Well if I had to find one, the fact that you can hear cars drive by every now and then
