“Fantastic location at edge of mountain”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2014

Loved this hotel! The loft room was great fun for the kids, and we had our private room with locked door and jacknjill bathroom.
Location walked right out onto pedestrian village, parking was convenient, and copious breakfast included.
Pool and sauna were lovely.

Room Tip: The loft was great! We looked out onto the main stage, which was fun in the daytime and quiet at nig...

The Homewood Suites is situated in a fantastic location in the Tremblant village. Stepping outside of its doors are restaurants and shops among all of the other amenities. The room itself is decent; it is pretty clean overall, although the washroom is showing its age. The bedroom is very small, with the 2 double beds, you cannot open the doors fully. The hotel includes free breakfast and afternoon "snacks" which are below average taste. The breakfast kitchen staff was definitely not the friendliest. The free wifi is very good. Overall, this hotel can be very busy due to its premium location, but it's begging for a bathroom update.

We have just returned from a 2 night stay in the Pedestrian village, Homewood Suites, Mont Tremblant. The location of this hotel is great and close to all the activities, unless you don't like some noise. The hotel was good. The front desk staff were very good and provided good information on arrival. We had a couple of minor issues in the room and after a call to the front desk, received very prompt service and all issues resolved.
The room was equipped with everything including dishwasher, fridge and microwave. The only negative was with the housekeeping. I did not find the room to be overly clean, dusty and some spills and crumbs behind the microwave on the counter. We had used a couple of mugs and a glass and when they made up the room the next day, they did not clean the dishes. I would have expected them to be washed. We could not do it as there was not dish soap. Not sure if this is something we were supposed to do but I did expect this to be taken care of.
They offer a hot buffet breakfast complimentary. It was extremely busy, the food was not replenished very fast and extremely small area for people trying to get their food but it was edible and started off the day.
Overall, we had an enjoyable stay. Loved the location of our room and the fact that we had a balcony and a view of the village.

Room Tip: We were on the second floor and the pool and breakfast were also on this floor.

This is right in the heart of the village. Close to everything and well kept residences. Will return. The room is spacious and well maintained. I would recommend this to anyone travelling to the village. Lots to do

Room Tip: Rooms on the north side

We stayed there for a 3 night mini vacation. The people are really nice, from check-in to check out, the staff were amazingly nice.

The rooms are clean, but run down a bit. We were upgraded to a two bedroom suite, which was really nice of them to do. With 3 kids, it makes a difference. Minor things in the room, like mold spots on the cloth shower curtain at the bottom, which really says they don't change them. The bedding was clean and comfortable. One of the beds had a chunk of bed frame sticking out that I whacked my shin on pretty hard.

The parking is NOT free, as advertised. You can park in the Tremblant free parking at the base of the resort for free, or $12 a night for the hotel parking. This one annoyed me. Don't say it's free parking if it isn't.

The breakfast food was okay at best... but it's included, so you can't complain too much about that, except that we were CONSTANTLY waiting for food. They were always empty.

The pool was great. Heated warm, clean and supervised... though the life guard looked like she would rather be jamming a needle in her eye than be there.

Note, the panoramic gondola ride is NOT included with this hotel. It's important to note because it is SILLY expensive. (Ours was $109 for gondola ride and crappy burger / dogs lunch).

Another minor thing... when we checked in, we tried to sign on with the code they gave us. The front desk argued and argued with me about it, in the end they gave us a correct code and the problem was solved.

The location is fantastic. You can't beat it.

Overall, not great, not bad... I'm not sure I'd stay there again, but I'd probably consider it.

I have travelled pretty extensively over the past 4 years. We have always been on a budget so we aren't used to 5 star hotels but this hotel was a disappointment. Room was dirty (moldy shower curtains, filthy bathroom floor~ which we washed) and ill stocked. It took us having to look for things such as dishes, soap, towels ourselves as calls to the front desk went unanswered. Breakfast was terrible (powdered eggs and barely edible meat choices, they ran out of food constantly ~ and we went early, so we had to wait and the lines became very long and the guests were irritated and complaining). The pool was constantly short on towels and the pool deck is small, lacks enough chairs for 5 families and dirty ~ bandaids littering the patio. Finally, while the bed upstairs in the loft was very comfortable, the pull out couch was the MOST uncomfortable bed ever~ again, we are used to pull out couches as most smaller suites have 1 bed and a pull out. It was encased in plastic (which I applaud for cleanliness) but each time my children moved it woke me up because it was so loud. The mattress was about 1.5 inches thick and the springs could be easily felt. I will not stay here again. I booked here because of the reviews and that is the reason I thought I'd write mine. There were many guests complaining and they were loud enough for me to overhear at many of the public areas.

On top of this, the hotel is very large and the pool is extremely small. There were several bachelor parties staying while we were there and they completely took up the pool ~ not that they shouldn't enjoy it, but just an illustration of how small the pool is.

Air conditioning, while extremely effective is very loud and the windows being open is an issue because the pedestrian village is very loud.

Room Tip: if you don't mind loud and cigarette smoke wafting into your room choose the side overlooking th...

Had a great room with a view of the main stage. Room was as we had expected. Had stayed there the year before. No complaints at all. Had a great time. Nice to be close to the action. |Was noisy on Saturday night but that is what we expected due to being in a room over where there was entertainment. We booked an extra night this year just to include the Saturday night festivities.
