“Good value and service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2011

Unfortunately, it rained all weekend, but we had a good time anyway. Rooms are comfortable but standard. Very good mattresses. Amenities such as shampoo, soap and body lotion are provided - no bath gel. Breakfast included bagels, croissants, toast, cereal, yogurt, and fruit. Nice outdoor pool, indoor parking is only $10 per day. Access to the beach club is included free of charge, which is a savings because entry is $15 per adult. Excellent front desk service, courteous and knowledgeable. Cleaning staff quick and efficient. Casino bus can pick up and drop off in front of the hotel. You need to ask the front desk to call the driver to pick you up. Good restaurants are located within a minute walking distance from hotel. We went shopping at an outlet in St Jovite which was a 20 minute drive from the hotel. The village of St Jovite is also pretty and full of shops. Great spot for all age groups.

Room Tip: Rooms with balconies more expensive but superior.

The hotel is located right at the bottom of Tremblant village right next to the Cabriolet lift. We stayed in one of the suites which was fully furnished. They have a full kitchen. Our room had two double beds and a sofa bed in the living room. Breakfast is included in the room rate which had enough of a selection to get you started. There is a hot tub at the property which was nice to go into after a long day of skiing. The hotel is at the bottom of Tremblant village so it's very close to the shops and restaurants of Tremblant and also to the main chair lifts.

we stayed 5 days during spring break, every year we go to Tremblant, first time to Country Inn, we really enjoyed our stay. We had a two bedroom apt it was very convenient. The breakfast is great. We will go surely to this hotel.

We've come to Mont Tremblant for several years and the value can waiver a bit, but lately it seems you pay more for less. We've stayed at several properties in the village and this was our first at the Country Inn & Suites.

On the positive end the staff were for the most part friendly, a couple were fairly indifferent and one had some other issues that I'll get into later. But overall they were a warm bunch. The breakfast is perfect for loading up before a day on the slopes and lounge area is very comoftable. The location is great and the ski locker location is brilliant as it leads right out to the village. It's actually much more convenient to use the locker than bother breaking the rules to stash equipment in the room.

The negative stuff is a bit frustrating since we were paying around $150 a night. The room was worn out. Sratches and gouges on the walls that had been poorly repaired and painted over. Carpets were well worn with stains and washroom was in need of an update too. Shower head was musteriously loose and sprayed water over the rest of the sink area rather than the tub, but were able to manually fix it with some hand tightening. Wifi, which is at a charge would disconnect every few minutes. Was connected to Wanderport and was told that I needed to go to the lobby to use the wifi that I'd payed to use in my room.

Down in the lobby, around 730 PM the front desk guy was sitting in a chair in the office behind the front desk. Door was wide open and he was leaned back in the chair, mouth open, sleeping and loudly snoring! A family with small kids were having a laugh about it, but another group waiting to check in looked a bit disturbed by it all.

It wasn't a bad stay but just don't feel there's any value aside from the location for what they're charging.. I don't expect 4 stars at $150 a night at a resort, but I also don't expect things to be worn out, wifi not working after paying for it, nor staff snoozing away at the front desk.

Just returned from March break at Tremblant. Check-in was smooth. Discovered at check-in that there is a $10/night charge to park in the heated underground garage or you could park for free in the lot about a block away. We chose to pay for the convenience.
Rooms were nice but a little dirty "in the corners". We had a 1 bdrm suite with two double beds and a full kitchen. The room faced the pool & hot tub which meant that there was no noise heard after the hot tub closed at 10pm. We also had a room on the main floor (highly recommended). We had a problem with the toilet and a repair person was sent very quickly. I was kind of annoyed to find that there is a $9.95 wi-fi access fee for each 24 hour period. Didn't use it.
The breakfast is good (homemade waffles, boiled eggs, beans, breads/croissants, cereal, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt) and we didn't have a problem getting a table but we were among the first in the dining room so we could get to first tracks.
Cookies and coffee are available all day which is a nice touch.
We would definitely stay here again.

The suite was massive, but looked right out on the hot tub with the gym next door. The front desk was overwhelmed and provided a poor service throughout. The breakfast hall is far too small for the number of guests and let to tussles for items and queues for a free table. Great location in the village, but very expensive.

Spent a week in Feb 2011 with my wife and two teenage boys at this hotel. This holiday was booked back in Sept 2010. Based on info from the travel forum about the busy time were were there and the potential late night noise from the surrounding night life in the village I phoned the hotel to confirm 1) can we have , as requested in September , adjoining or next door to each other the two rooms and 2 ) can they face the rear of the building on the 2nd or third floor (as recomended by the resident experts on the travel forum) away from reception and the potential revelry in the street outside. This I was promised was not a problem. But it was. When we arrived we had two rooms one right next to reception facing the front and the other at the opposite end of the hotel also facing the front. When we conmplained I was told tough, the hotel is full we cant change anything. Asked to speak to a manager , not available and would not be able to change anything anyway. So in 6 months and with a double check a couple of weeks before they managed to screw it up.
As to the hotel breakfast is ok but difficult to get a table to eat it at, Rooms are a good size and clean and comfortable enough but walls and ceiling very thin so we got woken up every morning by the people up stairs going to the bathroom. If you can afford to go to somewhere else in Tremblant then i would suggest you do but if not ,this place is not a complete disaster.
