5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2013

we spent a few days in this b&b during Christmas time and it was simply perfect. The rooms are quite. clean and decorate with taste. The two owners are genuire and very helpulf giving you all the information you need to visit the area. Breakfast is amazing, everyday they offer you something different and fresh. The view is beautiful, as the b&b is on the lake... On the first floor there is a living room, with couches and fireplace. We recommend it.

Very homely setting. Every corner of this 5 star B & B was decorated for Christmas and felt very festive. The guitar in the parlour provided great entertainment for my husband and added to the homely feel of the place. It was right on Lake Maskinange which was frozen & all around us was a truly unspoilt winter wonderland. It was 5 mins drive from St Jovite town Centre & the highway. St Jovite looked stunning & we had a beautiful white Christmas. The ladies helped us push our car up a small hill to get to the parking and kept asking how breakfast was and there was a bell to ring if we needed them so we felt very well looked after. On the down side however, although breakfast was stylishly presented and very tasty, portions were small and it was a cold breakfast. Juice was served in tiny stemmed glasses, the banana cake was yummy & soft but there was only one slice per head. The fresh fruit salad that Nicole & Gaten prepared was scrumptious and cut small, served in small crystal stem bowls. The main course was waffles with berry & vanilla yoghurt topping which was very sweet & the only thing with adequate portions. The selection of teas was quite good on arrival at night, but for breakfast it was ok. It would have been good if we could order dinner but there were no home delivery places nearby and we weren't in the mood to drive to the village Main Street. The rooms and bathrooms were well done & comfortable. Everything including the soft furnishings were of good quality. The pillows & quilts were polyester filling but I suppose that's safer for people with allergies. The bathrooms had Con-air hair dryers, wooden basin stands but the basins were small. They had double shower curtains and soft absorbent towels (brown!)but the net curtain on the window might be a bit uncomfortable for some. Also, the downstairs bathroom didn't have any hair conditioner or body lotion for those who might expect a 5 star place to provide those , but can't be bothered to ask for any. The lovely little tea room had a beautiful view of the lake, as did the parlour. There was a big verandah or sun room which they only used in the summer and had a beautiful view with big glass windows.

We spent a few days here to enjoy the foliage. Nicole is a charming hostess and her breakfasts are a real treat. We loved sitting on the dock looking out over the lake, which was ringed by an explosion of color. The living room has a wood burning fireplace but unfortunately the weather was too warm to have a nice cozy fire.

It was a wonderful stay and we look forward to returning.

This is the kind of place for people looking to relax in a friendly atmosphere in the middle of nature. It is managed by two very friendly ladies, who make sure nothing is missing to make the best of your stay. Great breakfast with a variety of food and drinks, including fresh fruit and pancakes with maple syrup (the best!). The village of Mont Tremblant itself is about 20 minutes away by car. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby the hotel though, and the hotel owners have them all listed for you.

We had planned to stay one night only, but did not want to leave once this night was over! So we changed our travel plans to accomodate another night in this fantastic B&B.
Gaetane and Nicole gave us a very warm welcome and we really felt at home. The decoration of the rooms, the cleanliness, the location and the delicious homemade breakfasts are outstanding! Not to forget the direct access to the lake with the possibility to use the B&B's own canoe, kayak or pedal boat - we really enjoyed every minute of our stay! It could not be better!
