“Perfect Location and Great Staff!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2012

This resort is worth a visit and nothing beats having a great accommodation. This is actually a 4 star hotel. The staff is very helpful and very efficient. The rooms are cozy and well furnished but the sofa bed is horrible! But the worst part was the air conditioner for the room, IT DIDN'T COOL THE ROOM AT ALL. It was just a fan. So we had to crank up the AC in the living area to try and cool the whole suite but that didn't prove to be much helpful!
The whole suite was up to date and kitchen came with good quality stainless steel appliances. There is free internet through out the hotel. The breakfast was good and good options (however a meat option other than pork would be great)! The hotel is conveniently located at ALMOST the tip of the resort with easy car access (unlike few other hotels there). There are many dining options just beside the hotel. The hotel provides free cable rides throughout your stay if you don't feel like walking (both uphill and downhill).

However, we checked in at 6 pm when the official checkin time started from 4 pm and we ended up with a room in the ground floor as there were no other rooms booked. There is free and payed parking. Free parking is with all the people that is visiting the resort (it is on open ground and 5 mins walk away) and payed parking is downstairs and cost $12.
Another problem was the payed parking. There is a section for bigger cars and another section for average cars and smaller. I wish there was someone who would be there and check if everyone was parking properly. My sister came is from San Diego with her baby so we rented a minivan to go to Mont Tremblant. The parking for big cars (minivans or SUVS) were occupied by mostly sedans and coupes so I had to go downstairs to the car parking designed for the average sized cars. I am an average driver and it took me 20 mins to park the minivan and that is ridiculous. Other people that came in after me had to park right beside emergency exits and any place they could park because the Checkin-in staff oversold parking!
Planning to go there for a week over the summer to relax and I hope to get a room that has working AC! Other than that, it was a good stay!

Room Tip: The Checking in time is at 4 pm. Get there as soon as you can to get a good room!

We were upgraded due to platinum status to a 2 floor suite that can sleep 8 people.
Very roomy, incredibly comfortable. Nice kitchen area, great view.

During this time of year, most fun stuff is only open on the weekends until June such as the luge.

Still many things to do such as horse back riding, 4 wheeling, rafting, helicopter rides etc...

Many great shops so be ready to do some shopping. Lot's of places to choose from to eat so we chose a 5 star Italian place around the corner.

I stayed here with my family over the Victoria Day long weekend. The weather in Tremblant was spectacular and consequently most of the hotels in the area were full. Despite the crowds, this hotel seemed like an oasis amidst the chaos.

The other reviewers comments about the service are spot on. The staff are very polite and accommodating. Throughout the weekend I was met with smiles and greetings from nearly all of the employees I encountered. Even during the breakfast rush where I witnessed some of the most unbecoming behavior from other guests I've ever seen at a buffet table, the wait staff were extraordinarily pleasant and patient with everyone.

The room design was adequate for a short stay - typical of most Residence Inn's I have stayed at. However, this hotel is due for a major renovation soon. This property is quite old and the wear and tear is apparent in a few places. The earlier comments I read about the thin walls are also accurate. Throughout our stay we could hear much of the conversation in the next room.

Other things I didn't like: The pool is too small and opens far too late (11am?!?) in the day. The hot-tubs are awkwardly shaped and difficult to access from the pool area. The only ice machine available to guests is in the basement, of all places.

Despite this, I give this property high marks for service and location. With a renovation and some redesigned amenities, this could easily make it into the top 5 places to stay @ Tremblant.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the pool and Cabriolet gondola are nice

A little tired in hallways, odor in elevator, but room suite was great! Very spacious, wonderful fresh new linens, comfy furniture. Very friendly staff.
Very well located in the heart of Mont Tremblant village.Close to golf; we played Le Diable - beautiful, challenging, good condition.

I travelled here in feb to ski as a single traveller. The reception staff could not be friendlier, (I think she was called Dominque?), spending time with me to show me the best places to ski and telling me about the resort. I was upgraded to a bigger suite but Dominque said if i wasn't keen (as it was in the attic) i could change the next day. So the next day whilst i was out on my ski lesson, they moved me to a fabulous suite all to myself! The hotel is in a great position, you can walk up to the ski lifts but there was a free cable car a couple of minutes from the hotel (handy as it was a steep hill). There was a lovely fire outside next to the hot tub, however there were some rowdy groups in there who left bottles all around the hot tub, not good when there were children around. The food was ok, plenty of choice at breakfast and the free afternoon tea on 4 days was lovely to come back to after skiing. Tremblant is a lovely place, great skiing and I would recommend this hotel!

We stayed there for the weekend .. the service was good. But the hotel was very old and the walls were paper thin.
The morning brunch included is not very good either.

The location of the hotel is great, especailly if your going in the winter for skiing.

Great hotel, perfectly situated in the middle of the Mont Tremblant Village. It is close to pretty much everything...from chair lifts to the Casino to the pedestrian / bike trails.
We were delighted to receive a room upgrade...made it that much better.

The breakfast buffet was more than adequate! No complaints there!

The pool was closed, but the hot tubs were open...very relaxing after a long day.

Only downside to this hotel is if your neighbors are loud like ours were one night. The walls seem a bit thin and we therefore heard their entire conversation at about 1:30am, but if you have "normal and courteous" neighbors, no problem!

We had a two bedroom two washroom two floor suite...this was a perfect choice!

We would definitely stay here again if we make it back up to Mont Tremblant!!
