“Charming hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2013

Located in a mountain atmosphere, this hotel offers excellent service with a bit of luxury touch. Cozy room, comfortable beds, soft pillows, elegant furniture, amenities to please any kind of guest. We stayed two nights in Mont Tremblant coming from Montreal. I recommend this experience being hosted by Fairmont chain.

My family decided to stopby Mt. Tremblant after 5-day camping in a national park so we booked a room at the Fairmont at the very last minute. We not only had a early check-in before 12:00pm, but also a late checkout at 1:00pm the next day. They really let my family have enough time to do the activities and enjoy the village. Thanks to their 5-star service! The hotel is in a perfect spot in the village. You can either walk down to shop or eat, or climb up the mountain to enjoy the nature. All the kids activities are steps away as well as the central stage. It is very convenient to go to watch the shows or attend the events. Inside the room, it certainly has a 5-star taste. The shower is extremely comfy. In addition, their game room is really fun! You can play air-hockey, foosball or hockey game(not sure the exact name). What a wonderful stay!

I've stayed at the Fairmount during the Ironman 70.3 and the full Ironman in August. Great service with helpful people. The rooms are super clean, the maid even folded my underwear that I had forgotten in the bathroom! The beds are soooo comfortable that you don't want to get up! The year round pool/spa is cool but often crowded.

On the negative side now... Charging 18$ for Wi-Fi is a non-sense!! We are in 2013 guys! I don't know any other hotels that charge for wi-fi nowadays... Valet parking is expensive 21$ per day.

Room service is great but again pretty expensive.

Overall great experience, good service and excellent location away from the noisy village of Mont Tremblant.

We recently visited this property for two nights with a summer special and enjoyed our stay. My teenage son played tennis at the Tremblant Beach and Tennis Club and the hotel was conveniently located near all town attractions, including the gondola, luge, restaurants, shops etc. Most of the activities in Mount Tremblant were outside the hotel in the town or its surroundings. We arrived late because we were unaware of Ironman events that shut off the roads and access to the town for hours. But the hotel allowed us a later checkout to make up for lost time and offered complimentary drinks upon arrival. The rooms and lobby areas were tastefully decorated and the showers were great, although the tile floors in bathrooms are slippery when wet so be careful. Our room was a good size and had a minibar/refrigerator and good internet connection and TV. The hotel beds were very comfortable, the staff was very friendly and helpful and we felt it was worth the long drive to the area from NYC. My son loved the town and the hotel. Breakfast in the hotel dining room was tasty. Service was slow there on second day however and we had to wait 20 minutes for a waffle as they had only one chef preparing omelets and waffles at the buffet table. Valet parking here is recommended because self parking is much further away. We drove to the tennis club but you could do the walk in about 15 minutes. We enjoyed the gondola ride and Birds of Prey show on top of the mountain. The hotel had an indoor and outdoor pool. They were lovely but not nearly as big as those at Chateau Laurier in Ottawa which has the best fitness center, or the outdoor pool in Jasper. This pool area was overrun with small children and there was limited seating although we did find a place to sit and relax. The indoor lap pool was small but better for an adult swim. We did not have a working clock in the room and reported it to the desk and they corrected this promptly. They also forgot to give us a wake up call. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. Would return if we were in the area. Must be beautiful in winter. We felt like we were in Europe. If you are on a tight sightseeing schedule and driving around Quebec to see other sights, I would say two to three nights is ample time for a visit here. The drive from New York State on Hwy 87 which turns into 15 in Quebec and then to 117 in the Laurentians was a scenic ride. We passed by Montreal and had beautiful views of the city on the way up there. Just a relaxing resort atmosphere for families.

Room Tip: Higher floor rooms facing the village and the mountain have the nicest views but our room was perfec...

Perfect location, great service, take the valet parking it's worth the extra 10-15$ otherwise you will be walking about 1km with your luggage from the P1 parking to your hotel... not good! They have the biggest outdoor hot tub and classic Fairmont service, well worth the extra $$.

what a great place to stay at! our family has stayed at the Fairmont many times, its biggest strengths during ski season are:

-the very best location on the mountain and the village
-on site ski valet
-a lounge that is perched on the 3rd floor overlooking the main side of the mtn and the village- its perfect for reliving your alpine war stories after a day's skiing
-its got a great canadiana/quebecois feel to it
-out door pool and hot tubs practically right on the ski run, great view

the only downsides are the breakfast buffet is just one notch below the overall quality of the property. also the rooms would do great with gas fireplaces as its technically a ski resort.

its expensive but the price reflects the overall quality

ski lift tickets can be obtained more economically purchasing locally at costco

We went here for a night after Montebello fairmont and let me say it is a totally different set up from Montebello ,rooms are modern and large so both places have own character. We have been to the village before so was not blown away with tourist trap stuff but did enjoy a walk about and a patio bar.The staff at the Fairmont Trembant was very good especially at the main dining area and the meals were very good but again here the wine is where they get you compared to some other higher end establishments.Like the other Fairmont the coffee is not very good it is to mild not nice full body, they do have Keurig machines in the room but only a breakfast blend coffee so bring your own .Even though at there prices you should not have to.

Room Tip: Be awhere parking is $21
