“Good resort for a first time experience!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 26, 2013

This was my first time skiing and so I opted for the adult learn to ski lessons at the resort.
The class size vary and the overall attitude of the instructors vary too.
My first instructor would have made me quit skiing after day one...she was not a very patient teacher but thankfully I kept it up and went back again and met Jaques. He was awesome...great attitude...great teacher....very funny too. Definately would recommend. Overall the resort was absolutely beautiful, the majority of the staff was friendly and very helpful. Would definately repeat.

“Good ski teachers”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2013

The ski teaches are mostly local people and they are very knowledgeable, experienced and patient. We bought group class and we had no more then 3 people on our classes, sometimes it was private classes.

“Fun for kids”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2013

This may be a little outdated* since I went here as a kid and haven't been since the early 90's, but I remember having a lot of fun at ski school, then skiing with my parents and skating on the pond near the little apartment we stayed in. If it's still the same as 20 years ago, then a great place for families.

“Excellent value for money”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

Stayed at Mont Tremblant Resort (La Tour des Voyageurs 151 Chemin Curé Deslauriers Mont-Tremblant) for three nights Jan 14-17th (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday). We reserved our room through a 48 hr Flash Sale promotion that we received via email. We got an excellent rate of $99/nt. Excellent value for our money! We literally walked outside the hotel's side exit and walked right onto the Cabriolet the lift that takes you the bottom of the ski hill. The hotel is steps away from the skating rink and about a 5 minute walk to tubing. The skating rink is well maintained and you can borrow skates for free. The tubing is not grand by any means, quite lame actually, but it entertained the kids for an hour or two. Be warned the hotel is not fancy, but it is very functional. We upgraded to two rooms; a Queen room adjoined to a suite which had a full kitchen. Upgrading was well worth the extra money. The village is expensive so you can save a fair amount of money preparing your own meals. Plus it was nice to have space to move around and a living room to sit in after the kids went to bed. The customer service at the hotel was excellent. Philippe at the front desk was especially helpful and Manual at the skaing rink also provided exceptional customer service. We had a fantastic mini vacation. Loved staying right in the village and going during the week was awesome. No crowds! My husband and I also went to Scandinave Spa for a night which was an amazing treat. I highly recommend this spa. We will definitely return again. Same hotel, same time of year!

“Skiing Cold but Great”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

We skied 2 weeks ago at Tremblant, it was a little windy, conditions no visibility. Once got down lower was able to see and ski. Service at chairs and gondolas were excellent and efficient. grooming a little on the icy side. Not so much traffic on hills. We skied and stopped a few times because wind and cold was not fun. Tremblant is usually cold and icy but one of the better mountains in the north..
