“Amazing!! Recommend to Anyone!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 16, 2010

We stayed at the comfort inn for 2 nights. At first we were a little hesitant but when we arrived at the hotel we were shocked by how nice the hotel was and how amazing the service was. We were greeted and everything went perfect. We stayed in the Executive suite(AMAZING ROOM) and we got the package which included one day ski and one day at the Scandinavia spa! All i can say is that i was EXTREMELY Pleased with everything and i Recommend this hotel for ANYONE!

We stayed for four days in Comfort Inn in Mont Tremblant. We booked a 2 bedroom condo, it was excellent, we felt that we were in our own apartment. We took breakfasts and dinners there and it was very comfortable. Important: no housekeeping during your stay, you have to imagine that you are in your apartment, or a friend's apartment. It was an excellent quality for the price we paid. The location was very good, we were there with our own car. It was around 10 minutes driving to Mont Tremblant or to Mont Blanc.

This is a great Comfort Inn. This is above the average Comfort Inn hotel. The room was fairly large with a comfortable bed. The furniture is a bit old but in good condition and well kept. The bathroom is small and dark but it was very clean. The hotel has a great pool area (indoor) with a hot tub and pool. There is a second pool (heated of course)outside the hotel which was great. You are walking distance (10mins) from central St.Jovite and the hotel is located next to HWY 117. If you get a room there at a reasonable price, do not hesitate and book it. I would stay there again if in the Tremblant / St. Jovite area again.

we all enjoyed the heated outdoor pool, especially relaxing after a day on the ski hill!!
the breakfast was just right, toast/fruit/make your own waffles, although it does get crowded quickly so go right @ 7 am when it opens
staff was friendly and very helpful
we enjoyed the tubing hill beside the hotel, very convenient!
we will stay again on our next visit to tremblant!

This hotel is great alternative to staying in the village at Mt Tremblant, especially if you drive here. If you are willing to drive 15 minutes to get to the lifts, you will save money and get a better room at the Comfort Inn. You will have to pay for parking or park in the main ski lot if you stay at the ski village slopeside.

The hotel is located very close to the town of Mont Tremblant, (formally Saint Jovite) so in the evening, you have a better selection of restaurants or groceries if you need them. There are many nice restaurants to choose from and Saint Joivte is a nice place to visit. You will also save money on this, as prices are better than in the ski village.

The hotel staff is very friendly and I found the rooms to be clean and comfortable. I had a fridge, microvave and a dvd player in my room.

Staying in the village is an experience, but since I had a car, the Comfort Inn made a lot more sense for me.

The money you will save can go towards an extra day's lift ticket !

  • Liked — Staff were very helpful and courteous
  • Disliked — not much, an onsite restaurant/pub might be nice.

We stayed here one night during a short weekend ski trip to Tremblant. Booked the cheapest room (2 queen beds) on the hotel's website for 108$ as the internet user's rate (all other online booking sites had this same room for 120$). When we arrived we were upgraded to a "executive room" because there were no more non-smoking standard rooms. The only difference between the regular room and the executive room was a mini fridge (and I mean very mini, the ones that are a little cube, not the counter height ones) and an extra sink (not in the bathroom, right in the room) which can be handy for morning preperations. There was also a small round table and 2 chairs in the room which I'm not sure if there was in the standard room. In my opinion, it definitely would not be worth the extra 30$ they were charging for the room (which we didn't pay given the situation). There was an approx 20 something inch t.v. and a DVD player. There is a selection of movies at the front desk for rent for 6$ (there are probably 50-100 movies to choose from, although I'm not sure if they have many new releases).

Overall the room was exactly what I expected for this type of hotel and the price paid, it was very decent but nothing overly nice. The one pleasant surprise was that the bathtub/shower was quite new (all sparkling white), although the water pressure for the shower was not very strong. The beds had very clean white sheets and the usual paper thin comforter that most hotels have.

There is an oversize hot tub outside which we didn't get to try as we forgot our swim suits. There is also an indoor pool which we didn't bother to check out.

There is tubing next door for 10$ which is open until I think 9pm.

The free continental breakfast was better that expected. They had coffee and juice, muffins, croissants and other delicious pastries, toast (with a variety of breads), 2 types of cereal and a make-your-own waffle machine. All this is located in a small dining room with approx a dozen tables seating 4 people each. When we first arrived at 7:45am there was plenty of place to sit although by approx 8am there were no tables left. There is also a gas fireplace and 2 large reading chairs next to it in one corner of the dining room.

The hotel is located just a few streets back from the main street of st-jovite, on a hill. Plenty of restaurants and shops within a short walking distance.

Overall I was definitely happy with my stay and will likely be going back.

  • Liked — The price I paid (also clean bathroom, good breakfast, free internet)
  • Disliked — thin comforter, ugly carpet

We had booked 2 suites for two families with 1 and 2 kids ages 5-8. Upon arrival the front des attendant suggesed a "condo" to accomodate all 7 of us. We agreed. We wound up in a fully furnished (and I mean it) 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom appartement which included washer/dryer, full kitchen (including plates, pots and pans, etc) and even a natural gas fired grill on the balcony, and garage parking. While we visited off skiing season, this place would be perfect for a large family on winter vacation, if you can not afford to stay right at the mountain (this place is 10 km from the lifts).
The breakfast was sufficient, but not exciting, with the exception of waffle making machine, which attracted kids attention. The pools (two of them - indoor and outdoor) were the least impressive part, pretty small and very dirty, you have to go to the front ddesk to get a towel. Staff was very pleasant. We only stayed for one day.
Overall, it's seemed a good value.
