We have both been traveling since the early 80's and cannot remember EVER being treated so poorly in any restaurant anywhere! We had come into the pub earlier that day and were invited to make a reservation for dinner and even pick out what table we wanted. We thought, great - so we did. When we arrived later, we saw people sitting at the table we'd picked out, only one other open table except a large table for 6 or more (there are 2 of us) and our reservation had been crossed out! We did finally get seated and water and menus were brought to our table. It took 45 minutes for a waiter to come to the table and ask if we wanted anything to eat or drink. It was the person from the afternoon who'd taken our reservation - no mention of mixup, etc., and a vibe that we were a bother. About 30 minutes later the waiter came by the table and asked us what we had ordered - we have to assume he never put the order in since we waited another 20 minutes or so before food arrived at the table. We'd only ordered a panini and a salad respectively. I asked for some olive oil for the salad and that NEVER arrived, even after we received the bill. We did observe the waiter delivering shots to a large table of people and doing a shot with them and what appeared to be the manager alternating between drinking wine at a table near us and talking to the bar staff from behind the bar. I have to say this was one of the most astounding travel experiences we've ever had - and NOT in a good way. Food was only fair at best. We would not recommend this pub restaurant to anyone.
