Just want to say it's a FANTASTIC PLACE to go. It's our 10 TIMES there and never desapointed. Fantastic view of the lake and mountains. Beautiful fireplace, sauna and double whirlpool. A great place to relax and recover from city noises, work and traffic. Nice little beach, you could even rent a boat of a pontoon with a B.B.Q.. We invite everybody to try it. Nice little town of STE-AGATHE not far away. Service and cleanliness #1.
p.s.: Tinking of moving there for our retirement.

We stayed at chalet #93 for a week-end. It was great.
Nice place. Nice view. Nice barbecue. Come with what you need for the week-end with the person you love and you will for sure enjoy your stay.

My husband and I went there for our wedding anniversary and were extremely disappointed. When we first went to check in the lady was very rude and not informative at all. She also would not let us use debit to buy propane because it was not expensive enough, when we asked how much it would be she did not know and was making up the rule on the spot. Then when we got to our chalet the outside looked very unappealing, the barbeque was covered in dirt and bugs and the lawn chairs were stained and full on marks. Then inside the chalet there was a used condom on the bedroom floor, which was disgusting. The bed was rock hard and the sheets were awful. The couch was so uncomfortable we could not even sit on it for more then two minutes. Our package also included what they said was a "fondue dinner for two" which consisted of a dollar store package of microwavable cheese and a loaf of bread. It was so awful that we had to check out early and rent a hotel room somewhere else. When we told them the type of service we experienced and about the used condom in the room they told us they didn't care and we would not get any refund for the night we didn't stay because it was a package deal. I would not wish that experience on my worst enemy.

I just wanted to write a quick review of my stay at Chalets Lac à la Truite. Its about an hour north of Montreal in the heart of the Laurentian mountains and most of the chalets are facing the lake with a beautiful view when you wake up in the morning or just having dinner on the patio. When we went up the weather was beautiful and we just strolled down to the private beach and fed the ducks and took some sun and the water was clean and warm. They don't allow jetski or waterskiing however but its very calm and quiet, you can however rent a paddle boad, canoe or kayak and have fun in the water. We rented the pontoon boat and had a pic-nic on the lake, very romantic. I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for a relaxing getaway for the weekend up north.

We've been going to Chalets Lac a la Truite for over 10 years. It is safet to say it is the best value ever when you realize that you get a spa, sauna, view of a quiet lake and a deck all wrapped up in one package. I've searched for many better deals but cannot find anything that matches these amenities, the view and location for the price. The owners have always been responsive to my comments. We are booked for this September and looking forward to it!

I went with a friend and we both loved it. We stayed at the Chalet #86 We thought it was delightful and we liked the location. We both wished the lake didn't have a fence around it, but it's understandable. It was very close to everything and we appreciated the drive. We loved the fireplace and the bed was very comfortable! We went to Mount-Tremblant Park, Le Petit Poucet for lunch one day and to a Cabane a Sucre (Millette, I believe). We would most certainly recommend the chalets for anyone looking for a nice, relaxing time in the Laurentides, and also to people looking for fun and adventure.
