i live in quesnel and was warned not to order the fish and chips but i got my order of so called " beer batter cod" ..it was pancake mix and lots of it..more batter then fish..terribly dry..fries were also terrible..overdone and dry..ordered water with a twist of lime and got lime juice from a can..hope i dont get sick..a real redneck bar..never going back

I can't say enough about the food at this pub. We eat there at least 2 x month and alway find it good. It's a great place to meet friends for lunch or go out for wing night.

When I was looking thru Trip Advisor and didn't see a review for the Cariboo Pub, I shouted "WHAT? I can't be a believer" The only excuse I can possibly think of is the townsfolk have conspired to the keep this gem a secret. If you like people, beer and good food...this is THE place. They have tvs for sports watching, a table for pool playing, chairs for sittin in, and a bar to drink at. The manager, the service staff, the bar staff AWESOME. Seriously, there are people inside and I am stunned that nobody has said anything til now. Wow. I am counting down the days until my next visit. All of you at the 'Boo' thank you so much and we'll see you again soon. WB
