I have been there about four times and the quality varies somewhat but the price never does - it is expensive. The decor is mediocre being an old store front with the standard heavy aluminum doors and some attempt to make interesting moulded wall patterns with 1*2 painted lumber. The bar area is nice though. The doors arrive directly in the eating area so you are about 1 m (3 ft) away from someone having their meal when you arrive and you give them a nice blast of Rimouski winter upon entering. I have felt a bit embarrased arriving directly on top of a couple eating. The tables are very close together (you need to turn sideways if you have your winter coat on to not knock something off the table). The coat rack is on the opposite side of the restaruant from the door so you need to pass through everyone to get there before coming back to sit down. It is intimate but with everyone else in the restaurant as well as the one you came with. Server(s) are friendly but a bit slow but that is not really an issue unless you really wanted fast food. They are kind of geared up for only one set of guests per night which is a plus for them in my books and that does necessarily increase the price.
To get the stars up in my estimation the restaurant would need to (1) make an external entrance which does not open directly onto the eating tables (2) greater consistency in food (3) more space between tables. It needs to be done without raising the price.
