Service: Some of the waiters are indifferent, one in particular was problematic, his shirt was not tucked in and his pants did not fit and seemed not to care, oh well. This may sound picky, especially as the restaurant is relaxed but it is hard to respect your server who contrasts with beatifully served food. On the other hand, the women were great. They had their eagle eye out for missing utensils, water or wine refills, I left to take a sunset picture and came back to a new napkin, wasteful but attentive. So mixed feelings on the service. The food: The tasting menu was $75, 4 courses. Seafood and veggies were all wonderfully fresh. Bison shortribs, wonderful. Timing of food between courses, just right, unless you have nothing to talk about with your partner. View, for a restaurant, breathtaking, my god a deer came to the window of the restaurant. The chef is trying new things, working with local fresh ingredients. For this calibre of food, $75 is a bargain, ordered individually at another restaurant, I believe would be equal to more. It is worth the drive out. I had an issue with another patron..PERFUME.. if you are going to wear it don't dump the bottle on yourself, the smell wrecked my final course and hurt my eyes, I am not anti perfum just anti strong smells in restaurants.
The problem, drinking and driving, how does anyone polish of a bottle of wine or two and get in their vehicle? Option..stay at the hotel or in the region.
